Description
The Pillar Magnetic Strip Flyscreen Door Curtain is a hands-free way to keep flies and other insects out while letting fresh air move through an open doorway. It is sized for a standard door opening at 90cm wide by 200cm high and comes in black.
About the product
A flexible magnetic strip runs the full length of the curtain. When you walk through, the two sides part, then the magnets pull them back together on their own, so there is no door to push or latch to close. The mesh is a UV stable polyester that lets breezes pass while helping to keep insects out of the house.
Where to use it
Indoors: across internal doorways and openings leading to a patio or verandah, wherever you want ventilation without the bugs.
Outdoors: on sheltered external doorways such as back doors, sliding door openings and entertaining areas.
How to use it
Installation is a simple DIY job using hook and loop fixing, and the mounting hardware is included in the pack. Measure your door opening first to confirm the curtain suits the width and height. Fit the hook and loop fixing along the top of the frame, then hang the curtain so the magnetic strip meets cleanly down the centre.
- Full length magnetic strip that snaps shut automatically
- Hands-free operation
- UV stable polyester mesh that allows airflow
- Hardware included for easy DIY fitting
Important notes
Check that the opening is within the curtain size before fitting. Sizes are nominal, so allow for your door frame and any trim. This is a fly screen curtain for keeping insects out, not a security screen.

Care and storage
Wipe the mesh gently with a damp cloth and mild soapy water when it gets dirty, and let it dry fully before rehanging or storing. Keep magnets away from credit cards and electronic devices. When not in use, store the curtain flat or loosely rolled in a cool, dry place.
