The Ring Outdoor Camera Battery (also sold as the Stick Up Cam Battery) is a wire-free 1080p HD security camera in white that you can place almost anywhere, indoors or out. It lets you watch over your home from the Ring app, with motion alerts and Two-Way Talk, and it runs on a removable battery pack so there are no cables to route.
About the product
This is a battery-powered, wireless camera designed for flexible placement. It records in 1080p HD with colour night vision, and the built-in microphone and speaker let you hear and speak to visitors through your phone. A quick-release battery pack powers the camera, so you can take the pack out to recharge it without moving the camera. Motion detection settings can be adjusted so you only get alerts that matter to you. You can connect one or several Stick Up Cams to your other Ring devices in the Ring app to keep an eye on the whole property.
Where to use it
Indoors: sit it on a shelf, bench or countertop to check on a hallway, living area, garage or workshop.
Outdoors: mount it on a wall near a front door, verandah, side entrance, backyard or driveway. The camera is weather resistant, so it is built for outdoor positions.
How to use it
- Insert the battery pack, then follow the prompts in the Ring app to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi. Setup usually takes just a few minutes.
- Choose your spot: stand it on a flat surface, or fix it to a wall using the supplied screws and wall anchors.
- Use Live View to check in at any time, and Two-Way Talk to speak with whoever is at the camera.
- Adjust Motion Detection settings in the app to control when you receive notifications.
- When the battery runs low, release the pack and charge it with the supplied micro USB cable.

Important notes
Live View, real-time notifications and Two-Way Talk are included at no extra cost on compatible Ring devices. Saving recorded video for later viewing (up to 180 days), plus extras such as person alerts, needs a Ring Protect plan, which is sold separately. The camera needs a Wi-Fi connection and the Ring app on a compatible phone or tablet. A power adaptor and solar panel are not included.

Care and storage
Wipe the camera lens and body gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth to keep the picture clear. Charge the battery pack using the supplied cable and keep it away from extreme heat. Keep the unit and its small parts out of reach of young children. Follow the instructions in the user manual for setup, mounting and battery handling.
