Selleys 635 Multipurpose Elastic Sealant Clear 290 mL

Selleys 635 is a premium 100 percent clear elastic joint sealant that delivers strong, flexible and waterproof seals for indoor and outdoor jobs. Powered by hybrid technology, it adheres to most common building materials without primer and resists UV and weather for long lasting performance. Paintable with water based paints after skinning.

Where to use

Vertical and horizontal joints on most indoor and outdoor surfaces, including concrete, timber, metals, cement sheeting, brick, plaster, ceramic tiles, glass and many other common building materials.

Not suitable for Polyethylene, Polypropylene or PTFE, structural glazing, or permanent water immersion.

Directions

  1. Prep Clean and remove dust, grease and contaminants. Degrease metals.
  2. Cut nozzle on a sharp angle slightly wider than the joint. Use a suitable backing rod to control depth where required.
  3. Apply Gun the sealant into the joint. Tool within 10 minutes to ensure good contact with joint sides.
  4. Paint When skinned, paint with water based paints. For solvent based paints, first apply a water based undercoat and test on a small area.

Clean up

Clean spills and tools with mineral turps before cure. Once cured, remove mechanically.

Storage

  • Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place
  • Unopened shelf life 12 months from date of manufacture
