Selleys Sausage Caulking Gun 38cm (For 600ml Sausage Packs)

Description

The Selleys Sausage Caulking Gun is a 38cm blue applicator built for dispensing adhesives and sealants from large 600ml sausage packs, with a second fitting so it can also handle standard cartridges. It suits bigger jobs where a regular cartridge gun means constant reloading, and it works for both tradies and keen DIYers.

About the gun
The barrel has an internal diameter of 50mm and a length of 350mm, which fits most of the common 600ml sausage packs on the market. A large trigger pushes the product out, and a metal release plate lets you stop the flow with your thumb. Two plunger plate fittings come in the box, one for sausage packs and one for cartridges, so you can switch between formats without buying a second tool.

Where to use it
Indoors: laying beads of adhesive or sealant on larger interior jobs such as panelling, joints and trims where you go through a lot of product.
Outdoors: bigger sealing and bonding runs on the job site where a high-volume pack saves time on refills.

It is made for use with sealants and adhesives supplied in sausage packs up to 600ml, and the cartridge fitting covers standard cartridge products too. Always check that the product you are using comes in a format that fits the barrel.

How to use it
1. Unscrew the black end cap and fit the nozzle into the cap.
2. Slide the sausage pack into the barrel.
3. Snip the clip off the end of the sausage with scissors or secateurs while the pack is still in the gun.
4. Screw the end cap with the nozzle back onto the barrel.
5. Cut the nozzle tip to suit the bead size you need.
6. Squeeze the large black trigger to push the product out. Press the metal release plate with your thumb to stop the flow.
7. To change packs, unscrew the end cap, discard the empty sausage and load a fresh one.

Important notes
Always follow the directions on the adhesive or sealant you are dispensing, including surface preparation, working time and cure time. The gun does not include any adhesive or sealant. Wipe the gun clean before leftover product cures, and check that the plunger plate for your pack type is fitted before loading.
