Description
Selleys Undo Glue is a removable mounting glue for hanging and fixing items around the home without making a permanent commitment, supplied here in a 10g pack. It is designed to hold firmly, then come away cleanly later without damaging the surface, so you can hang, mount and rearrange things without drilling.
About the formula
A ready-to-use, pre-mixed adhesive, so there is nothing to blend or activate. It is made to give a strong hold while still allowing clean removal when you want to move or take down the item. It is made to be used with Selleys Undo Glue Hooks, and can also be used to mount lightweight items such as posters, photos and decorations. Once applied it is not drillable or sandable.
Where to use it
Indoors: hanging hooks, posters, photos and decorations on painted walls, tiles and other smooth household surfaces, in places where drilling or a permanent fix is not wanted.
Around the home: kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, hallways, rental properties and kids' rooms where a removable fix is handy.
Suitable surfaces include tiles, wood, metal, glass, ceramic, concrete, laminated timber, powder coated metal, most plastics and painted walls. Test on a small, hidden area first, especially on plastics and delicate paint finishes.
How to use it
Make sure the surface and the item you are mounting are clean, dry and free of dust, grease and loose material. Apply the glue as directed on the pack, press the item into position and hold it as the label advises. Allow the full cure time before putting any weight on it. Follow the directions printed on the pack for the item you are mounting and for removal.
Important notes
Allow around 24 hours for the glue to cure fully before loading the item. Not intended for permanent structural fixing. Check the label for weight limits and unsuitable surfaces, and do not exceed the stated load. Surface condition, paint quality and the type of material can all affect hold and clean removal, so a test patch is recommended.
