Description
Selleys Undo Glue Large Hook & Glue is a two-pack of large hooks supplied with a glue that you can undo, so you can hang things around the home without drilling or committing to a permanent fix. It is designed to hold firmly while you use it, then release cleanly when you are ready to move or remove it.
About the formula
Undo Glue is Selleys' removable mounting system. Each hook is fixed in place with the supplied glue, and when it is time to take it down the hook is twisted to release it rather than pried or chiselled off. The aim is a strong hold with no damage to the surface when it comes off. The large hook is rated for loads of up to 5kg.
Where to use it
Around the home: hanging everyday items such as towels, tools, décor and lightweight organisers on walls and other smooth, solid surfaces without drilling.
Rentals and tiled areas: handy where drilling is not an option or you want the freedom to rearrange later.
Suitable surfaces include tiles, wood, metal, glass, ceramic, concrete, laminated timber, powder coated metal, most plastics and painted walls.
How to use it
Start with a clean, dry surface free of dust, grease and loose paint. Fix the hook in place using the supplied glue, following the instructions on the pack. Allow 24 hours before hanging anything on it. To remove the hook later, twist it to release the bond, as directed on the pack.
Important notes
Allow the full 24 hours before loading the hook. Keep loads within the 5kg rating. Test an inconspicuous spot first on delicate, flaking or freshly painted surfaces and on plastics, as results can vary with the surface. Check the pack for any surfaces it is not recommended for.
