Description
Selleys Undo Glue Small Hook & Glue is a commitment-free way to hang lightweight items, supplied here as a pack of four small hooks with glue. It is designed to give a firm hold during use, then release cleanly with a simple twist, so you can hang, mount and rearrange things around the home without drilling or leaving permanent marks.
About the system
Each pack combines small hooks with Selleys Undo Glue, a bonding system made for temporary fixing. The hold is rated by the manufacturer for loads up to 2kg, and the hooks are made to come away without damaging the surface when you are ready to move or remove them. The glue is not self-adhesive, so it is applied as part of the hook installation rather than coming pre-applied on a tape.
Where to use it
Indoors: hanging lightweight items on tiled walls, painted walls, timber and other smooth household surfaces where drilling is not wanted.
Around the home: kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, hallways and rental-friendly spots where you want to avoid permanent fixings (check the pack for any exterior or wet-area limits).
Suitable surfaces include tiles, wood, metal, glass, ceramic, concrete, laminated timber, powder coated metal, most plastics and painted walls.
How to use it
Make sure the surface and the hook base are clean, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Apply the glue and fix the hook as shown in the instructions on the pack, then leave it undisturbed so the bond can develop. When you want to remove a hook, use the twisting action described on the pack rather than pulling it straight off. Always follow the printed directions for your pack, as they take priority over this summary.
Important notes
Allow 24 hours before hanging anything on the hook. Do not exceed the stated 2kg limit. Test on an inconspicuous spot first if you are using it on delicate, freshly painted or unusual finishes, and test plastics before committing to a final position. Because the system is designed to release cleanly, it is intended for lightweight hanging rather than permanent or load-bearing fixing.
