  • Remove dust and friable material through wire brushing, grinding, sanding, or other mechanical methods.

For best results, follow these priming and pre-treatment steps:

Non-Porous Substrates:

For surfaces such as aluminium, anodised aluminium, stainless steel, PVC, and glazed tiles:

  • Slightly roughen the surface using a fine abrasive pad.
  • Clean and pre-treat using Sika® Aktivator-205 applied with a clean cloth. Wait 15 minutes before applying adhesive (within 6 hours).

For metals like copper, brass, and titanium-zinc:

  • Clean and pre-treat using Sika® Aktivator-205. After 15 minutes, apply Sika® Primer-3 N by brush. Wait at least 30 minutes (within 8 hours) before applying adhesive.

Porous Substrates:

For concrete, aerated concrete, mortars, and bricks:

  • Prime the surface with Sika® Primer-3 N. Wait at least 30 minutes (within 8 hours) before applying adhesive.

Note: Primers are adhesion promoters and are not a substitute for proper surface preparation. They also enhance the long-term bond strength.

Cleaning of Tools:

  • Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with Sika® Remover-208.
  • For skin cleaning, use Sika® Cleaning Wipes-100.
Once cured, the adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
