Description
Slime 2-in-1 Tyre & Tube Premium Sealant is a pour-in puncture protection for off-highway wheels, supplied in a 946ml bottle that suits both tubed and tubeless tyres. One product covers both tyre types, so you do not need to work out which sealant to buy for the mower, trailer, quad or barrow.
About the formula
A thick, bright green, water-soluble liquid that uses Slime's Fibro-Seal technology. It coats the inside of the tyre or tube as the wheel turns. When a puncture occurs, the escaping air carries the sealant to the hole, where the particles pack together and knit into a flexible plug that stops air loss. It is designed to seal tread-area punctures up to 6mm (1/4 inch) in tyres and up to 3mm (1/8 inch) in tubes, and it also helps with slow leaks. Once installed, it keeps protecting for up to two years. The formula is non-flammable and non-corrosive, so it is gentle on finished wheels and rims, and it cleans up with water.
Where to use it
Indoors: great for preparing wheelbarrows, mowers, trolleys and scooters before they head out of the shed.
Outdoors: ATVs and UTVs, golf carts, ride-on mowers, small trailers, tractors, scooters, dirt bikes and bicycles with tubes.
Suitable for tubed and tubeless tyres on non-highway vehicles and equipment.
How to use it
Park the vehicle or equipment on level ground and, where possible, take the weight off the wheel. Remove the valve core, add the sealant through the valve stem, then refit the valve core. Check the label for the right amount for your tyre size. Inflate the tyre to the recommended pressure with an air source, then drive or spin the wheel so the sealant spreads around the inside. Clean up spills with water.
Important notes
The sealant needs air to work, so keep the tyre inflated to the recommended pressure. It is intended for tread-area punctures only and will not fix sidewall damage or leaks at the rim seal. It is not approved for tubeless bicycle tyres or for vehicle tyres travelling at highway speeds. Remove any object that is still embedded in the tyre before use.

Safety
