The Swann EVO 2K Indoor Wi-Fi Camera is a compact, plug-in security camera that gives you sharp 2K video, two-way talk and local recording without a monthly subscription. It suits homes, apartments and rentals where you want an easy way to keep an eye on the family, pets or entry points.
About the product
The camera records in 2K Quad HD, which Swann describes as twice the resolution of 1080p, for finer detail and better digital zoom. A 90° viewing angle covers a good part of a room, and black and white night vision reaches up to 10 m in low light. Built-in motion and people sensing is designed to send more relevant alerts to your phone. A built-in speaker and microphone let you talk with family, check in on pets or speak to someone who should not be there. It connects to your Wi-Fi network and mains power, then works through the Swann Security app.
Where to use it
Indoors: living areas, hallways, entries, kids' rooms, pet areas, home offices and rental properties. The magnetic base lets you stand it on a flat surface without drilling, and the supplied wall mount is there when you want a fixed position.
Outdoors: not intended for outdoor use.
How to use it
- Plug the camera into mains power using the supplied adapter and cable.
- Connect it to your Wi-Fi network through the Swann Security app.
- Place it on a flat surface using the magnetic base, or fix it to a wall with the mount, screws and plugs provided.
- Insert a microSD card (sold separately) to record clips locally and review them in the app. There is no monthly subscription fee for local storage.

Important notes
A microSD card is not included, so add one if you want to save footage. Night vision video is black and white. The camera is for indoor use only and needs a nearby power point and Wi-Fi coverage. Keep the camera firmware and the Swann Security app up to date, and use a strong, unique password on your account and Wi-Fi network.

Care and storage
Keep the camera and power adapter dry and away from heat sources, and use only the supplied power adapter and cable. Wipe the lens gently with a soft, dry cloth. Keep cables out of reach of young children, and store the unit in a cool, dry place if you are not using it.
