Description
The Swann EVO Wireless Video Doorbell with Chime Unit is a Wi-Fi video doorbell that lets you see, hear and talk to whoever is at your front door from your phone. It pairs a 1.7MP camera and night vision with a portable indoor chime, so you hear the doorbell anywhere in the house. You can run it on its built-in rechargeable battery or connect it to existing doorbell wiring.
About the product
The camera records 1.7MP (1296 x 1296) video with a 140° viewing angle. That is wide enough to show faces at the door and parcels on the ground. Night vision reaches up to about 5m and switches to black and white in total darkness. Swann's True Detect sensor picks up heat, motion and people to trigger alerts. Two-way audio lets you greet visitors or warn off unwanted ones through the Swann Security app, and the SwannShield AI Voice Assistant can talk to visitors for you. Footage is saved to a MicroSD card (sold separately), so you can record locally without a subscription.
Where to use it
Indoors: the included battery-powered chime plugs into no wall socket and can sit wherever you will hear it best. It is for indoor use only.
Outdoors: the doorbell unit is IP56 rated for indoor or outdoor mounting at a front door, entry gate or side entrance.
How to use it
Mount the plate beside your door with the supplied screws and hardware, then clip the doorbell onto it. Charge the built-in battery with the USB-C cable, or hardwire the doorbell to your existing doorbell wiring for continuous power. Pair the doorbell and chime, then set up alerts, recording and the voice assistant in the free Swann Security app (iOS and Android).

Important notes
A MicroSD card is not included. The doorbell connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and wireless range depends on your home and local conditions. Battery performance can drop in very cold weather. Operating temperature is -10°C to 50°C. If you are not confident connecting to existing doorbell wiring, use a licensed electrician.

Care and storage
Wipe the doorbell with a soft, slightly damp cloth and keep the lens clear for the best picture. Recharge the battery with the supplied USB-C cable when the app shows a low battery alert. Keep the chime indoors and away from moisture. Keep batteries and small parts out of reach of children.
