Description
The Syneco 4 Dial Brass Combination Padlock is a simple, key-free way to secure a shed, locker, gate, toolbox or storage box, with a solid brass body and a code you choose yourself. Because you set the code, there is no key to lose and no factory number to memorise.
About the product
The padlock has a brass body and four number dials. Once the code is set, you only need to line up your four digits to open it. The combination is resettable, so you can change it to something easy for you to remember, and change it again later if you need to.
Where to use it
Indoors: lockers, cupboards, storage cages, toolboxes, cabinets and school or gym bags with a suitable lock point.
Outdoors: sheds, gates and storage boxes where you want key-free access for more than one person who knows the code.
How to use it
- Check the combination the padlock arrives set to, as noted on the pack.
- Follow the resetting instructions supplied with the padlock to choose your own four-digit code.
- Test the new code several times with the shackle open before relying on it.
- Thread the shackle through your lock point, close it and spin the dials to lock.
- Line up your code to release the shackle.
Important notes
Choose a code you will remember but others will not guess, and avoid obvious sequences such as 1234 or 0000. If you share the code, remember to change it when people no longer need access. A combination padlock suits general household, workshop and storage use. For high-value items or situations needing higher security, consider a heavier-duty lock.

Care and storage
Keep the dials clean and free of dirt and grit so they turn smoothly. Wipe the body with a dry or lightly damp cloth, and avoid harsh chemicals on the finish. Write your code down and keep it somewhere safe, away from the lock itself. Store spare padlocks in a dry place.
