Description
The Tactix Tough Case in Large is a hard-shell protective case for tools, instruments, electronics and other gear that needs a safe ride. It has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, a pick and pull foam insert that you shape to your gear, and latches and a handle built for regular carrying.
About the product
The case has a tough, impact-resistant shell and a sealed lid. IP65 means it is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets, so it handles rain, splashes and dusty sites. It is not designed to be submerged. A pressure relief valve evens out the air pressure inside and outside the case, so the lid still opens easily after temperature or altitude changes. The pre-scored foam insert lets you pluck out squares to match the outline of your items.
Where to use it
Indoors: tidy storage for tools, test equipment, cameras and delicate items in the workshop, garage or home office.
Outdoors: carrying and protecting equipment on job sites, in the ute or boat, and on camping or photography trips.

How to use it
Pluck out foam squares to make pockets for your items, then place them in the case. Check that no items sit on the lid seal, then close and fasten both latches. Add a padlock through the lock provision if you want extra security. Wipe the case clean with a damp cloth when needed.
Important notes
The IP65 rating covers dust and low-pressure water jets only, so do not submerge the case. Keep the lid seal clean and free of grit so it keeps sealing properly. Do not overload the case beyond what you can safely lift by the handle.

Care and storage
Keep the case clean and dry, and wipe over the lid seal now and then to remove dust and grit. Store it out of prolonged direct sun and away from heat sources. Make sure latches are fully closed when carrying so the lid stays secure.
