Description
The Tactix Tough Case in Medium is a rugged, IP65 rated hard case for protecting tools, electronics, camera gear and other valuables on the job, in the ute or in storage. It combines a sealed lid, heavy duty latches and a customisable foam insert in a compact size that is easy to carry and stack.
About the product
The tough outer shell is moulded from reinforced polypropylene and the lid is fitted with a seal. This gives an IP65 rating, which means the case is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It is built for splashes, rain and wet or dusty work sites. It is not designed to be submerged. An automatic pressure relief valve equalises the air pressure inside and outside the case. This stops the lid from becoming hard to open when temperature or altitude changes. A soft-feel carry handle and strong, easy-open latches make it simple to take on the go.
Where to use it
Indoors: keep power tool accessories, instruments, meters, small electronics or fragile items protected in the workshop, garage or cupboard.
Outdoors: carry gear to site, on camping and fishing trips or in the back of the ute, with the lid sealed against dust and splashes.

How to use it
Open the latches and pluck the pre-scored foam squares to match the shape of your items, leaving a snug fit with no loose movement. Place your gear inside, close the lid so the seal sits evenly all the way around, and snap the latches shut. If you want extra security, fit a padlock through the provided holes (padlock not included).
Important notes
IP65 protects against dust and water jets but not against immersion in water. Once foam has been plucked out it cannot be put back, so test the layout with your items before removing a lot of material. Avoid leaving the case in a hot, enclosed vehicle for long periods with sensitive contents inside.

Care and storage
Wipe the case and seal clean with a damp cloth and let it dry before closing it for storage. Keep the lid seal free of grit so it keeps sealing properly. Store in a cool, dry place away from prolonged direct sun. Take care not to overload the case beyond what the latches and handle can comfortably carry.
