Where to use it
Indoors: along walls and known rat runs, and beside gnawed openings or burrows where rats are active, in areas such as sheds, garages, roof spaces and utility areas.
Outdoors: not recommended for outdoor use.
How to use it
Use several traps rather than relying on just one. Set them in pairs about 4 to 5 metres apart along walls and runways, or next to gnawed holes and burrows. Follow the setting steps printed on the pack and choose the sensitivity setting that suits the location. Allow around 48 hours for an initial catch. If nothing is caught, you can add a suitable alternative rodent attractant to the pedal.
Important notes
The spring is strong, so set the trap carefully and keep your fingers clear of the bar while setting. Place traps where children and pets cannot reach them. Check traps regularly and wash your hands after handling or disposing of a catch. This trap is designed for rats, and is suited to indoor use only.
