The Big Cheese Live Multi-Catch Mouse Trap is a pre-baited, ready-to-use live catch trap for dealing with mice in the home, shed or workplace without poisons. It holds four or more mice at a time, so one trap can keep working between checks.
About the product
A lightweight plastic trap with a self-setting mechanism, so there is no spring to cock or set by hand. A clear sliding lid lets you see at a glance whether anything has been caught and lets you release mice without handling them. The bait well comes pre-loaded with an attractant, and the trap can be reused and re-baited. It contains no poison, which makes it a sensible choice where snap traps or baits are not wanted, such as around children and pets.
Where to use it
Indoors: along walls, behind appliances, in pantries, cupboards, laundries and garages where mouse activity has been seen.
Under cover: sheds, workshops and outbuildings. Keep the trap sheltered from the weather.
How to use it
- Slide off the lid and take the cap off the bait well to expose the pre-loaded attractant.
- Close the lid again. No other set-up is needed and the trap does not need to be set by hand.
- Place the trap against a wall or other flat surface where mice run. If you have a larger problem, use several traps spaced a few metres apart.
- Check the trap regularly through the clear lid. Release any catch promptly, well away from the house, in line with local wildlife rules.
- To refresh the bait, use a mouse attractant or a sticky food such as peanut butter, jam or chocolate spread. Never put poison bait in a live catch trap.
- Wear gloves when handling a trap that has caught mice, and wash the trap before reuse.
Important notes
Live catch traps need regular checking so that trapped animals are not left in distress. Local wildlife laws may set requirements for how often you check and where you release animals. When the trap is not in use, store it somewhere that animals cannot enter it by accident. This trap is sized for mice and is not intended for rats. If you catch nothing, try moving the trap to the busiest area, topping up the bait, and blocking entry points and securing food to reduce the attraction.

Care and storage
After each catch, release the mice, wear gloves and clean the trap with warm soapy water before re-baiting. Let it dry fully. Store it in a dry place out of reach of children and pets, away from areas where animals could wander in by accident.
