Description
The Big Cheese Multi-Catch Mouse Trap is a reusable, self-setting galvanised steel trap built to deal with mouse problems in homes, sheds, food storage areas and farms. It is designed to take 10 or more mice in a single setting, so one trap can cover a lot of ground without constant resetting.
About the product
The trap uses a heavy duty galvanised steel cage for a hard-wearing, long-lasting build. A self-setting mechanism resets the trap for the next mouse, and a clear-view flip top lid lets you check the catch at a glance and makes inspection and cleaning simple. It is part of The Big Cheese live-catch range, which is a contained, welfare-friendly style of trap with no need for poison baits or snap mechanisms.
Where to use it
Indoors: pantries, food storage areas, garages, sheds and other spots where mice travel along walls or hide.
Outdoors: farms, outbuildings and commercial sites where mice are a recurring problem.
How to use it
- Place the trap along walls, in corners or near spots where you have seen droppings or signs of activity.
- Add a suitable attractive bait, such as a sticky food like peanut butter, according to the on-pack directions.
- Use the clear flip top lid to check the trap regularly without disturbing the catch.
- Open the lid to empty and clean the trap, then bait it again and put it back in position.
- In heavily affected areas, using more than one trap can improve results.
Important notes
Check the trap regularly so any catch is dealt with promptly and humanely. Do not use poison baits inside a multi-catch trap. Wear gloves when handling a used trap, and wash your hands afterwards. Sealing entry points and storing food securely will help stop mice returning.
