Description
The Big Cheese Sonic Pest Repeller is a small plug-in rodent deterrent that helps keep mice and rats out of living areas without baits, traps or chemicals. It runs around the clock and is compact enough to sit discreetly in a room, kitchen or garage while delivering the same output as the brand's larger units.
About the product
The unit gives off ultrasonic sound waves that humans and non-rodent pets such as cats and dogs cannot hear, but that sit within the hearing range of mice and rats. This creates an unwelcome environment for rodents so they move on to look for somewhere else to live. It is a welfare-friendly, poison-free option that suits areas where baits are not appropriate, such as around food preparation spaces.
Where to use it
Indoors: living areas, kitchens, sheds and garages with a power point available.
Outdoors: not suitable for outdoor use.
How to use it
- Plug the unit straight into a power point and switch it on. No batteries are needed.
- Use one repeller per room for the best results.
- Leave it running while you deal with an infestation, then keep it going as a preventative measure to discourage rodents from returning.
- Position it where sound can travel freely, as ultrasonic waves are easily blocked by furniture, curtains and other solid objects.
Important notes
Do not use it around pet rodents such as guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils or rabbits, as they can hear the sound. It is designed for indoor use only and should be kept dry. A repeller is a deterrent, so for an existing heavy infestation it is best used alongside other control methods.

Care and storage
Unplug the unit before moving or cleaning it, and wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth. Keep it away from moisture, and do not use it outdoors. Keep out of reach of young children when not plugged in, and store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
