The Big Cheese Ultra Power Neo-Zap Electronic Rat Killer is a reusable, battery-powered rat trap that uses an electric charge for fast, humane control, without relying on poison baits. It is built for indoor spaces where rats are a problem, from home garages and lofts to storerooms and commercial kitchens, and it is simple enough for a first-time user to set up.
About the product
The Neo-Zap is a battery-powered electronic unit that uses rodent control technology developed by pest control professionals. This is the updated design. It runs on four AA alkaline batteries (not included), and one set of batteries is rated for more than 50 rats. Micro-switch protection supports safer handling and re-baiting, and indicator lights show the unit's status and when the batteries are running low. Full operating instructions come with the unit.
Where to use it
Indoors: garages, basements, lofts, warehouses, stock rooms and commercial premises, including kitchens.
Outdoors: not suitable. This unit is for indoor use only.
How to use it
- Fit 4 x AA alkaline batteries (sold separately).
- Bait the unit with a palatable lure. The Big Cheese Fresh Baited Mouse & Rat Attractant is the suggested option, or you can use an alternative lure such as a piece of fruit on the metal rod.
- Place the unit along a wall or runway where rats are active, following the supplied instructions.
- Re-bait as needed using the micro-switch protected design, and replace the batteries when the low battery indicator shows.
Important notes
For indoor use only. Batteries and bait are not part of the unit itself, so check that you have both before you set it up. Read the full operating instructions before first use, and keep the unit away from children, pets and non-target animals.

Care and storage
Keep the unit out of reach of children and pets, and set it only in locations where non-target animals cannot reach it. Handle it as the supplied instructions describe, and take care when emptying and re-baiting. Store it in a dry place indoors when it is not in use.
