Description
The Trojan Magnetic Tool Tray puts your most-used tools within arm's reach, with a roomy tray and six screwdriver slots in a single matte black steel unit. It sticks to most metal surfaces in the garage or workshop, so small parts and hand tools stay off the bench and out of the way.
About the product
The tray is made from heavy duty steel with a matte black finish. Rubber coated magnets hold it in place and help protect the surface it sits on from scratches. The main tray holds small tools and loose bits, and the six slots hold screwdrivers upright so you can grab the right one quickly. Trojan rates it for up to 3kg and backs it with a lifetime warranty.
Where to use it
Indoors: on tool trolleys and tool chests, steel workbenches and shelving, or even the side of a fridge in a garage or workshop.
Outdoors: on metal shed walls or any other steel surface where you want tools close at hand.
How to use it
- Choose a clean, dry, flat metal surface and place the tray against it so the magnets sit flush.
- Load the tray with hand tools, bits, fasteners or other small items, and slot your screwdrivers into the six holders.
- Keep the load within the 3kg capacity and spread the weight evenly.
- Lift the tray off the surface gently rather than dragging it, to look after the finish.
Important notes
The tray only holds on magnetic metal, so it will not stick to aluminium, stainless steel grades that are non-magnetic, timber, plastic or masonry. Holding strength can drop on painted, curved, dirty or uneven surfaces, so check it feels secure before leaving tools in it. Do not exceed the 3kg capacity. Keep it away from computers, phones, cards and other items that can be affected by magnets.

Care and storage
Wipe the tray with a dry or lightly damp cloth to remove dust and workshop grime, and dry it off if it gets wet. Keep the magnet faces clean so they hold well. Store it on a metal surface or somewhere dry, and keep magnets away from children and from sensitive electronics.
