About the product
The tray is made from 430 stainless steel and has a PVC-coated base. The coating helps protect the surface it sits on from scratches. The magnetic base holds the tray in place on magnetic surfaces, and the same magnetism keeps steel fasteners from sliding around inside the dish.
Where to use it
Indoors: on a workbench, tool chest or other steel surface in the garage or workshop, or next to you while you assemble or repair something.

How to use it
- Set the tray on a magnetic surface within easy reach, or on a bench if you only need a catch-all dish.
- Drop in nails, screws, nuts and similar small steel parts as you remove them.
- Lift the tray off by sliding or tilting it from the surface. This is gentler than pulling it straight up and helps protect the surface.
- Keep the tray and the surface it sits on clean and free of grit so the coated base stays smooth.
Important notes
The magnetic hold only works on surfaces a magnet will stick to, so check with a magnet first if you are unsure. Magnets attract steel and iron parts only, so brass, aluminium and plastic fasteners will not be held in place. Keep magnets away from bank cards, watches and sensitive electronics.
