Description
Velcro Extreme Outdoor Hook & Loop Tape is a self-adhesive fastening roll built for outdoor mounting on rough, uneven surfaces, supplied here as a 3 metre roll that is 25mm wide. A heavy duty adhesive backing lets you fix items to brick and concrete without drilling, nails or screws, and the tape is made to cope with sun and weather.
About the formula
The tape pairs hook and loop fastening with a professional grade, heavy duty adhesive backing that is designed to grip rough surfaces. It is UV and weather resistant, so it is suited to exposed spots where ordinary sticky-back tape tends to give up. It holds up to 6.75kg and has an operating temperature range of -18°C to 60°C. Because it is supplied on a roll, you can cut it to whatever length the job needs.
Where to use it
Indoors: it can be used on rough surfaces inside the home where a strong, drill-free fix is wanted.
Outdoors: patios, garden walls, brick and concrete surfaces, for mounting or securing lightweight outdoor items such as decor, signage and gear.
Suitable surfaces include rough and uneven masonry such as concrete and brick. Brick varies a lot, so test a small area first.
How to use it
Clean the surface so it is free of dust, dirt and grease, and let it dry. Cut the length of tape you need from the roll, peel off the backing liner, and press the tape firmly onto the surface. Follow the pack instructions for how long to let the adhesive settle before you rely on the hold.
Important notes
This tape is not recommended for fabrics, dashboards, flexible vinyl or underwater use. Long, continuous exposure to full sunlight can damage the fastener over time. It is not intended for loads above the stated holding capacity, so spread heavier items across a longer length of tape and test before trusting it with anything valuable or breakable.
