Loxeal 31-42 Clear 5-Minute Epoxy Adhesive 50ml Dual Cartridge
Loxeal 31-42 is a two-part, fast-setting structural epoxy that cures colourless and transparent, making it ideal for repairs where the glue line needs to stay invisible. Supplied in a convenient 50ml dual cartridge (1:1 ratio) with a mixing nozzle, it dispenses perfectly proportioned adhesive with no weighing or hand mixing. With a working time of around 5 minutes and handling strength in 20–30 minutes, it bonds metals, ferrite, ceramic, marble, glass, concrete, wood and some rigid plastics.

How to use
- Lightly abrade the surfaces, then degrease with Loxeal Cleaner 10 or acetone and allow to dry.
- Fit the mixing nozzle to the cartridge and discard the first 3–5 cm of extruded adhesive.
- Apply the mixed adhesive directly to one surface.
- Assemble the parts immediately and hold them together, without mechanical stress, until handling strength is reached.
- Remove uncured excess with acetone or a compatible solvent-based cleaner; cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
Cure times
- Pot life (working time): 3–8 minutes at +25°C
- Functional cure: 20–30 minutes at +25°C
- Strength continues to develop over the following hours; gentle heat accelerates cure

Important notes
- Not suitable for rubber, soft materials, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) or PTFE
- Apply at temperatures above +15°C; higher temperatures shorten pot life
- Avoid mixing large volumes at once – the chemical reaction generates heat
- Store in a cool, dry place at no more than +25°C
