Crystal Clear Adhesive - Won't yellow over time. Double Sided Tape - coated with adhesive on both sides for easy hanging. Bonds - Plastic, Metal, Wood, Glass, Brick, Ceramic, Stone & More! *weight limits may vary depending on surface texture, porosity and flatness of surface. Both surfaces must be completely flat to make full contact with adhesive. Is Gorilla Mounting Tape permanent? Yes. Once Gorilla Mounting Tape is used to mount an object, it is meant to be held in place permanently, and not be removed. How much weight will Gorilla Mounting Tape hold? Gorilla Black Mounting Tape will hold up to 30 (13.6KG) pounds per project. How do I remove Gorilla Mounting Tape’s liner? Once Gorilla Mounting Tape is pressed onto the surface of the object to be held, remove the liner by peeling it from a corner of the tape. This can be done by using a fingernail or similar object to separate the liner from the tape. How do I remove Gorilla Mounting Tape? Gorilla Mounting Tape is a permanent tape. Once applied, it can be difficult to remove, and can damage surfaces if the objects are pulled away from the surface.  If Gorilla Mounting Tape isn’t exposed and cannot be reached by hand between the mounted object and the surface, a prying motion on the object from one corner can sometimes remove it from the surface. Please note that damage to the surface can occur.  If Gorilla Mounting Tape is exposed and within reach between the mounted object and the surface, pull the tape parallel to the surface (or vertically downwards) to remove it from the object. How much Gorilla Mounting Tape should I use on my project? Use four inches of Gorilla Heavy Duty Mounting Tape per pound of weight being held.

Key features High initial grab for confident placement Easy to spread with smooth, low odour application Suitable for vinyl sheet and vinyl tile on concrete and timber subfloors Approximate coverage: 4 to 5 m² per litre, depending on surface and technique Tack time: 5 to 15 minutes at 23°C and 50% RH Sets in 24 hours for light foot traffic and finishing Where to use Interior installations of vinyl sheet and vinyl tile Most prepared concrete and timber subfloors Surface preparation Ensure surfaces are dry, smooth, clean and free of dust, oil, paint or contaminants that could limit adhesion. Prime highly porous concrete or timber with a suitable primer as directed by the manufacturer. Level or repair imperfections with a compatible floor leveller or floor repair compound before bonding. Application Apply an even coat to the subfloor using a 1.6 × 1.6 × 1.6 mm V notched trowel. Allow adhesive to become tacky before laying vinyl. Typical tack time is about 10 minutes, longer in cool conditions and shorter in warm conditions. Do not allow a skin to form. Lay the vinyl into the adhesive. Roll firmly in both directions to ensure full transfer to the back of the vinyl. Clean up Clean tools and spills immediately with warm soapy water. Remove dried adhesive with mineral turps. Conditions and storage Apply between 8°C and 35°C with adequate ventilation. Shelf life: 12 months in unopened container stored at approximately 20°C. Good to know Use a roller after placement to improve bond and minimise bubbles. Coverage varies with subfloor condition, porosity and trowel technique. Warranty Product is guaranteed for 10 years when installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Packshot of Boyle Mosaic Craft Adhesive Glue Paste 120 g

Boyle Boyle Mosaic Craft Adhesive Glue Paste 120 g

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Boyle Mosaic Craft Adhesive Glue Paste 120 g is a reliable ready to use craft adhesive paste for mosaic and small decor pieces chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 120 g pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy. Why choose Boyle Mosaic for your next project Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. Boyle Mosaic Craft Adhesive Glue Paste 120 g has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set. Best for Mounting glass tesserae and small tiles to bases Decorating frames, pots, and plaques Craft classes and school projects Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Terracotta and ceramic bases Primed timber Card and board Glass and stone pieces Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Remove loose material, dust, and grease. Wipe glossy areas with methylated spirits or an approved cleaner and allow to dry. On very smooth plastics and metals, lightly roughen with fine abrasive paper to give the adhesive a mechanical key. Dry fit parts first and mark alignment points so you can assemble accurately within the open time. If bonding porous materials, ensure both faces are dry and free of surface chalking. How to use Check fit and plan clamping. Do a trial run without adhesive so you know the order of steps. Apply a thin, continuous bead to one surface. For wide pieces, use a zig zag pattern to maximise wetting. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of workable for extended craft sessions. Reseat once if needed, then hold steady. Apply even pressure using clamps, tape, weights, or temporary fasteners. Avoid squeezing all adhesive out of the joint. Allow to cure undisturbed. Initial handling strength will develop as the adhesive sets, with a full cure reached based on the chemistry described below. Cure profile Initial grab holds pieces in place while you continue working. Allow to dry fully before grouting or moving finished items. Temperature and environmental performance Use in dry indoor conditions for best results. Avoid application to very cold, sweating, or waterlogged surfaces. For outdoor use protect fresh bonds from rain until the skin has formed and the core has progressed in cure. Once fully cured, the bond resists normal weathering, splash water, and intermittent UV exposure based on the substrate and paint systems used. Clean up and finishing Wipe away fresh squeeze out with a damp cloth. Wash brushes in warm soapy water. When cured, excess can be carefully trimmed or sanded. For painted finishes, allow the adhesive to fully cure before priming. Test paint on a small area to confirm compatibility and drying behaviour. Coverage guide Coverage varies with bead size, surface porosity, and technique. As a general guide, a 3 mm bead yields approximately 10 to 12 linear meters per 310 mL cartridge. Smaller packs scale proportionally. Gaps, rough edges, and highly absorbent materials will reduce coverage. Plan an extra margin for offcuts and practice passes. Tips for best results Work within the recommended open time so the adhesive can properly wet the surfaces. Use light clamping pressure to keep parts aligned while maintaining a film thickness for strength. For very porous substrates, apply a thin precoat as a primer layer and allow it to tack before final assembly. Keep joint lines clean by masking edges with painter tape and removing it before the adhesive skins. Where movement or vibration is expected, design the joint to share load across a large area. Troubleshooting Poor adhesion: Check for oil, release agents, or surface dust. Reclean and lightly abrade if necessary. Slow cure: Low temperature and low humidity extend cure time. Maintain moderate conditions for best results. Visible squeeze out: Wipe fresh material with a suitable solvent and a soft cloth. Once cured, trim carefully. Bond line prints through paint: Allow a full cure, then prime and apply thin coats of paint, allowing proper drying between coats. Storage and shelf life Close lid firmly after use to prevent skinning. Store at room temperature. Always check the pack for a lot code and use by guidance. Reseal immediately after use and store upright. Dispose of empty containers responsibly. Safety Read the label before use. Wear gloves when handling uncured material. Provide ventilation in enclosed areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If sensitivity occurs, stop use and seek advice. Do not ingest. First aid directions and detailed handling information are available on the package and the safety data sheet. Frequently asked questions Can I bond dissimilar materials? Yes, provided each surface is clean and sound. Differences in expansion are managed by the adhesive film thickness and the inherent flexibility after cure. Is clamping required? Light clamping improves alignment and final strength. Excessive pressure can starve the joint of adhesive which reduces performance. Is the bond water resistant? Once cured the bond resists splash water and routine humidity. For permanent immersion choose an adhesive designed for underwater service and follow the manufacturer guidance. Planning your job Measure twice and cut once. Dry assemble parts so you can confirm squareness and alignment before adhesive is involved. Keep rags, clamps, and spacers ready. If you are new to the product, test on offcuts to get a feel for bead size and squeeze out. A consistent 1 to 2 mm bond line is a good starting point for most rigid materials. Thicker lines help when surfaces are uneven. Avoid starving the joint by pressing too hard without giving the adhesive a place to reside. Responsible use Choose an adhesive that suits the materials and the environment the finished piece will face. If a joint will be submerged, carry structural loads, or be exposed to strong chemicals, check the technical data sheet for specific guidance. Many general purpose products are perfect for day to day work, while specialised tasks call for a system designed and tested for that environment. Using the right product first saves time, money, and rework. Aftercare and maintenance Adhesive joints are remarkably strong when used correctly. Design repairs so that routine loads are shared across a generous area. Where heavy vibration is present, pair the adhesive bond with appropriate mechanical fasteners. Keep cleaning chemicals mild, and avoid abrasive pads on visible joints. If a bond will be repainted, choose flexible paint where movement is expected, and keep edges sealed to prevent dirt tracking along the bond line. Recycling and disposal Allow empty containers to cure before disposal. Check local council guidance for recycling of plastics and metal cartridges. Never pour uncured product into drains or soil. Wipe tools on scrap material and let residue harden before placing in general waste. Smart handling keeps the workspace clean and reduces environmental impact.

Overview LOCTITE Super Glue All Plastics is a rapid dual-action adhesive kit featuring a precision super glue and a surface activator pen. Engineered to bond difficult plastics such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and PTFE, it forms clear, resilient bonds in seconds and resists water, most household chemicals and freezing temperatures. Ideal for repairs on toys, cameras, small automotive parts, wiper blades, rubber seals, figurines and other plastic components. Advanced bonding system: activator primes the surface; glue delivers high strength. Fuses hard-to-bond plastics: effective on PE, PP, PTFE and more. Fast & clear: sets in seconds, dries transparent for nearly invisible repairs. Durable: water-resistant and suitable for cold conditions. Surface Preparation Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and close-fitting. Remove grease, oil, dust or loose particles. For best adhesion on very smooth plastics, lightly roughen with fine-grade sandpaper and wipe clean. Avoid use on soft foams, expanded polystyrene or highly porous materials. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area if unsure about compatibility. Application Instructions Prime with activator: Apply one or two thin coats to both bonding surfaces, ensuring full coverage. Re-cap the activator pen immediately. Allow to dry/react for 1–2 minutes. Apply adhesive: Place a minimal drop of glue on one surface only. Bring parts together immediately and hold firm pressure for at least 1 minute. Avoid shifting once contact is made. Cure: Leave undisturbed for 10 minutes. Full bond strength develops after 12–24 hours at room temperature. Coverage & Performance Only a thin film is required—one drop bonds most small mating areas. Initial handling strength is typically achieved within 5–30 seconds depending on substrates and conditions. Drying & Setting Time Initial set: 5–30 seconds* Handling time: ~1 minute Full cure: 12–24 hours Recommended conditions: 15–30 °C and ≥30% relative humidity *Setting and cure times vary with substrate, joint fit, temperature and humidity. Clean-Up & Storage Wipe nozzle to remove excess adhesive and replace caps immediately after use. Store upright in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Do not refrigerate. Shelf life (unopened and properly stored): up to 18 months. Limitations Not recommended for glass, very flexible materials, soft foams or highly porous substrates. Not suitable for continuous water immersion or high-heat applications. For indoor use or dry environments; test before critical repairs. Safety & Handling Contains cyanoacrylate. Bonds skin and eyes in seconds. Avoid contact. Use in a well-ventilated area; consider gloves and eye protection. If skin is bonded, do not pull apart—soak in warm, soapy water and gently roll/separate. Acetone may assist on non-sensitive skin; avoid on plastics. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water and seek medical attention immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Technical Data Product Type Two-part system: Activator + Cyanoacrylate Adhesive Substrates PE, PP, PTFE, many rigid plastics, rubber, selected metals Appearance Clear (dries transparent) Packaging Size 2 g adhesive + 4 ml activator Initial Set 5–30 seconds (substrate dependent) Full Cure 12–24 hours at ambient conditions Temperature Range Approx. −50 °C to +80 °C (typical for cured cyanoacrylates) Cleanup Mechanical removal once cured; avoid solvents on sensitive plastics What’s Included LOCTITE Super Glue (2 g) Surface Activator Pen (4 ml) Always follow on-pack directions. Fresh paint should be fully cured. Peel and place: remove a tab from the liner, align and press firmly for several seconds to ensure full contact. Hang décor: slide a balloon neck into the slot or thread ribbon, cord or lightweight line through the tab opening. Adjust if needed: for best results, reposition immediately after placement before full bond develops. Removal and clean up To remove, gently lift a corner of the tab and peel it back slowly over itself at a low angle. If resistance is felt, pause and continue slowly. On delicate finishes, test in an inconspicuous area first. Dispose of tabs with household waste. No solvents or scraping required when used as directed. Pro tips Use multiple tabs to distribute weight across wider banners or garlands. Avoid textured, dusty, damp or porous surfaces which reduce adhesion. For ceiling applications, ensure the surface is smooth and dust free. Allow items that were stored cold to reach room temperature before use. Indoor use recommended. Prolonged exposure to moisture, heat or direct sunlight may reduce performance. Safety and care Keep out of reach of small children. Not a toy. (after 28 days) (ISO 868) Elongation at Break 400% approx. (ISO 37) Elastic Recovery 70% approx. (ISO 7389) Tear Propagation Resistance 4.0 N/mm approx. (ISO 34) Service Temperature −40 °C to +70 °C SUBSTRATE PREPARATION The substrate must be clean, dry, sound and homogeneous, free from oils, grease, dust and loose or friable particles. Sikaflex® Crystal Clear adheres without primers and/or activators. However, for optimum adhesion and critical, high performance applications, such as on multi-story buildings, highly stressed joints, extreme weather exposure or water immersion, the following priming and/or pretreatment procedures shall be followed: Non-porous substrates Aluminium, anodised aluminium, stainless steel, PVC, galvanised steel, powder coated metals or glazed tiles have to be cleaned and pre-treated using Sika® Aktivator-205, wiped on with a clean towel. Before sealing, allow a flash-off time of > 15 minutes (< 6 hours). Other metals, such as copper, brass and titanium-zinc, also have to be cleaned and pre-treated using Sika® Aktivator-205,wiped on with a clean towel. After the necessary flash-off time, use a brush to apply Sika® Primer-3 N and allow a further flash-off time of > 30minutes (< 8 hours) before sealing the joints. Porous substrates Concrete, aerated concrete and cement based renders, mortars and bricks shall be primed using Sika® Primer-3 N applied with a brush. Before sealing, allow a flash-off time of > 30 minutes (< 8 hours). For more detailed advice and instructions please contact the local Sika Technical Services Department. Note: Primers are adhesion promoters. They are neither a substitute for the correct cleaning of a surface, nor do they improve the strength of the surface significantly. Bonding After substrate preparation, apply Sikaflex® Crystal Clear in beads, strips or spots to the bonding surface in intervals of a few centimetres each. Use hand pressure only to set the element to be bonded into position. If necessary, use SikaTack® Panel Tape during the initial hours of curing. An incorrectly positioned element can easily be unfastened and repositioned during the first few minutes after application. Apply pressure again. Optimum bonding will be obtained after the complete curing of Sikaflex® Crystal Clear. The recommended adhesive layer thickness (depending on surface evenness) is ≤3 mm. Fresh, uncured adhesive remaining on the surface must be removed immediately. Final strength will be obtained after complete curing of Sikaflex® Crystal Clear. Sealing After the necessary substrate preparation, insert a suitable backing rod to the required depth and apply any primer if necessary. Insert a cartridge into the sealant gun and extrude Sikaflex® Crystal Clear into the joint making sure that it comes into full contact with the sides of the joint and avoids any air entrapment. Sikaflex® Crystal Clear sealant must be firmly tooled against the joint sides to ensure adequate adhesion. It is recommended to use masking tape where exact joint lines or neat lines are required. Remove the tape within the skin time. Do not use tooling products containing solvents. Cleaning of Tools Clean all tools and application equipment immediately after use with Sika® Remover-208 and/or Sika® Wonder Wipes. Once cured, residual material can only be removed mechanically.

Overpainting Best painted after skin formation; performance can be improved by treating the joint surface with Sika® Aktivator-100 or Sika® Aktivator-205 before painting. If the paint requires baking > 80 °C, allow the sealant to fully cure first. Always conduct preliminary trials under manufacturing conditions. Avoid using enamel, alkyd, and chlorinated rubber paints on the joint area. Compliance & Approvals Meets requirements set out by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Associated with the marine “Wheelmark” conformity mark under the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) where applicable. FAQs Can Sikaflex®-291 be overpainted? Yes, once cured and after preliminary testing for compatibility. Note that paint elasticity is usually lower than the sealant’s and may crack over the joint. Enamel, alkyd, and chlorinated rubber paints should not be used on the joint area. What is a “marine grade” sealant/adhesive? Sika’s marine range is designed for flexible, waterproof, and durable assemblies across vessels from small yachts to large ships, for maintenance and construction tasks above and below the waterline. When and why should a primer be used? Primers promote adhesion on certain substrates. Sika® Primer-210 is commonly used prior to applying 1-component polyurethanes like Sikaflex®-291. Always confirm with testing. What does the Wheelmark indicate? The Wheelmark symbolizes conformity with marine equipment standards under the EU Marine Equipment Directive (MED). Which substrates does Sikaflex®-291 bond to? Wood; metals, metal primers and 2-C paint systems; ceramics; and plastics such as GRP. Avoid plastics prone to stress cracking (e.g. acrylic/Plexiglas®, polycarbonate). How do I remove Sikaflex®-291? Uncured: Sika® Hand Wipes or Sika® Remover-208 for tools/surfaces. Cured: mechanical methods (knife, wire, abrasion). Remover-208 will not remove cured material. Important: Information above is based on typical data. Performance depends on substrate, preparation, joint design, and application conditions. Conduct on-site tests to verify suitability. Always consult the latest Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
