Crommelin Sprayable Exterior Grade Waterproofing is a rubberised, shake-and-spray waterproofing coating in a 400ml aerosol, made for outdoor areas that cop regular water and UV exposure. It is designed to seep into and seal leaks, cracks and small gaps, leaving a flexible, watertight film that suits quick repairs on roofs, gutters and similar exterior surfaces. This pack is the grey finish.About the formulaA rubberised coating delivered from a pressurised can, so there is no brush, roller or mixing involved. The manufacturer describes it as UV stable, weather resistant (it does not fade or yellow), permanently flexible and fast drying. It also helps protect the coated surface from corrosion and stops moisture getting through. Once cured it can be overcoated with most water-based (acrylic) paints.Where to use itIndoors: not intended for interior use. This is an exterior grade product.Outdoors: roofs and gutters, chimneys, skylights, block and brickwork, hoses, air conditioner drip pans and ductwork.Suitable surfaces listed by the manufacturer include metal (steel and aluminium), concrete and masonry, roofing materials, timber and particle board, PVC piping and fibreglass. The product has not been tested for use in potable water systems. How to use itSurfaces must be clean, sound and dry, and free of dust, grease, release agents, loose particles and other contaminants. Shake the can vigorously for one minute, and do a test spray on cardboard to get a feel for the spray pattern. Hold the can roughly 8 to 18cm from the surface and apply a thin first coat, which acts as a primer, then let it dry. Follow with a heavier coat, moving the nozzle a little closer to build a thicker film. For longer-lasting protection apply three to four coats, and for wider cracks and gaps keep adding coats until the cavity is filled. Apply to the positive side only (the side where water enters the substrate). Recoat once touch dry, which is about 20 to 30 minutes depending on thickness, weather and site conditions, and allow good airflow to help it cure.Important notesApply in temperatures of about 10 to 30 degrees C and avoid applying when humidity is high (the recommended maximum is 85% during application and cure). Avoid spraying in high wind or dusty conditions. Cold temperatures and poor airflow will lengthen cure times. It can be painted over after 24 hours. Full cure takes 48 hours, and the coating should not be exposed to water until then. Coverage depends on the shape and condition of the surface. Always do a small test area first.Specifications Brand Crommelin Product Sprayable Exterior Grade Waterproofing Pack 400ml aerosol can Colour Grey Type Rubberised waterproofing coating Application Aerosol spray (shake and spray) Recoat time About 20 to 30 minutes (touch dry) Paint over After 24 hours Full cure 48 hours Application temperature 10 to 30 degrees C Overcoating Most water-based (acrylic) paints Use Exterior SafetyKeep away from heat, sparks, flames and hot surfaces, do not spray onto a flame or ignition source, and do not pierce or burn the can, even when empty. Crommelin Exterior Grade Brushable Waterproofing Membrane is a tough, flexible synthetic rubber coating for external areas that stay wet, supplied here in a 15L pail for larger jobs. It is designed for permanent water contact, for non-exposed areas with pedestrian traffic, and for use beneath screeds and toppings. It is built to move with the structure rather than crack as the building shifts.About the formulaA ready-to-use, water-based, synthetic rubber membrane (styrene butadiene rubber) in grey. It stays permanently flexible, bridges existing cracks up to 1.5mm and bonds to a wide range of building substrates. It is low VOC and dries quickly. Once cured it can be overcoated with screeds, renders and water-based coatings, so it suits layered waterproofing systems.Where to use itIndoors: not intended as an interior wet-area (under-tile) membrane. Crommelin offers separate products for that job.Outdoors: gutters, roof gardens and terraces, podium decks and balconies, retaining walls, slab edges and fire tanks. It also suits other areas of permanent water contact and non-exposed areas under screeds and toppings.Suitable substrates listed by the manufacturer include concrete and brick, cement render, plywood sheeting, cement sheeting, lightweight aggregate block, trafficable screeds, aluminium and steel (suitably primed). How to use itSurfaces must be sound, clean and completely dry, with no dust, grease, curing compounds, release agents, loose particles or efflorescence. Crommelin Exterior Grade Brushable Waterproofer is a grey, synthetic rubber based liquid membrane for areas that stay wet, including permanent immersion, protected pedestrian areas and surfaces that will be covered by a screed or topping. This 1L pail suits small repairs and compact jobs. It dries to a tough, flexible film that moves with the structure underneath.About the formulaA water based, ready-to-use membrane built on synthetic rubber (styrene butadiene rubber). The manufacturer describes it as low VOC and fast drying, with good adhesion to a wide range of building surfaces. It stays flexible after curing so it can follow structural movement, and it can bridge existing cracks up to 1.5mm. It is suitable for permanent water immersion and, per the manufacturer's technical data sheet, for collecting and storing potable water. Once cured it can be overcoated with screeds, renders and water based coatings.Where to use itIndoors: not intended as an interior wet-area (under-tile) membrane. Crommelin makes separate products for that job.Outdoors: gutters, roof gardens and terraces, podium decks and balconies, retaining walls, slab edges and fire tanks. It also suits non-exposed pedestrian areas and applications under screeds and toppings.Suitable surfaces listed by the manufacturer include concrete, brickwork, concrete blocks, cement render, screeds, fibre cement sheeting, plywood sheeting and steel (suitably prepared or primed). The technical data sheet also lists aluminium and lightweight aggregate block. How to use itSurfaces must be clean, dry and sound, and free of dust, grease, curing compounds, release agents, loose particles, efflorescence and laitance. Concrete should have cured for at least 28 days, and screeds and renders for at least 7 days. The manufacturer calls for a moisture test to confirm the substrate is dry enough to coat, and recommends an electronic moisture meter. Remove high points, fill blow-holes and honeycombing with a suitable repair mortar, and make good any defects. Masonry should be flush pointed. The product is ready to use, so stir it well before applying. Apply with a brush or roller. Use a bond-breaking sealant in all joints, junctions, protrusions, angles and internal corners, and apply the membrane to the positive side of the substrate. Apply two coats at the recommended rate, running the second coat at right angles to the first once the first is touch dry (about 2 hours). Apply only between 10°C and 35°C and in humidity no higher than 85%. Wash tools with water before the product dries.Important notesAllow a minimum of 72 hours before backfilling and about 7 days for full cure. Ensure good airflow while curing, and do not expose the membrane to moisture until it has fully cured. Protect the membrane from damage, and install suitable protection board before any backfilling. Do not apply in extreme weather or humidity. If the substrate is not dry, the manufacturer advises priming with Crommelin Dampstop, so check the full instructions on the Crommelin website for your substrate. Avoid applying the membrane too thickly in corners, as this can reduce flexibility. This listing is for the brushable (pail) product, not the sprayable aerosol version.Specifications Brand Crommelin Product Exterior Grade Brushable Waterproofer (Exterior Grade Waterproofing) Model number 1081-001 Pack 1L pail Colour Grey Base Water based, synthetic rubber (styrene butadiene rubber) membrane Application Brush or roller, 2 coats Coverage About 1.5m² per litre per coat, so about 0.75m² of finished two-coat membrane per 1L Crack bridging Existing cracks up to 1.5mm Recoat time About 2 hours Backfill Minimum 72 hours Full cure 7 days Application conditions 10°C to 35°C, humidity up to 85% Clean up Water, before the product dries Use Exterior, permanent immersion, non-exposed pedestrian areas, under screeds and toppings SafetyIt is stable under normal storage and use, and is incompatible with strong oxidising agents, strong acids and strong bases. In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Dunlop Tile Pointing is a flexible, premixed pointing compound that acts as a mechanical adhesive for hip and ridge roof tiles, exceeding the requirements of the relevant Australian Standards. Independently tested to achieve a C4 classification, it is approved for use in cyclonic regions, and its low-VOC formula resists mould and mildew while flexing with normal roof movement. Available in five roof-matched colours and backed by a 10 year guarantee, it is the straightforward way to re-point ridge capping and secure hip tiles without mixing mortar additives on site.Where to use itFor exterior roofing work only — pointing hip and ridge tiles over fresh or sound existing bedding on concrete and terracotta tiled roofs. Choose the colour that best matches your tiles: Slate Grey, Charred Ash, Jet Black, Sand or Terracotta. How to useBefore application, ensure all bedding material is in place and sound, and surfaces are clean and free of dust and loose mortar. Stir the pail contents, then apply the compound directly over the bedding with a gauging or pointing trowel, working it firmly against both the ridge tile and the roof tile surfaces to a thickness of roughly 3-5mm. Tool off to a neat finish. Wash tools in warm water immediately after use. • Packshot of SikaBond High-Strength Foam Construction Adhesive 750 mL

Sika SikaBond High-Strength Foam Construction Adhesive 750 mL

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

SikaBond High-Strength Foam Construction Adhesive 750 mL is a reliable one component foam construction adhesive dispensed from a can chosen for home repairs, trade work, and craft builds when you want a bond you can trust. Designed for Australian conditions, it balances strength, ease of use, and clean application so you can get professional results without special tools. The 750 mL pack is ideal for general work and keeps neatly in a toolbox or caddy. Why choose Sika High-Strength for your next project Everyday jobs often involve mixed materials and imperfect surfaces. SikaBond High-Strength Foam Construction Adhesive 750 mL has been formulated to wet out well, grab quickly, and cure to a tough finish that resists movement and contact stress. It maintains bond integrity across common temperature swings and has dependable resistance to moisture and most household chemicals. Whether you are fixing, building, sealing, or assembling, this product gives you confidence from first squeeze through final set. Best for Fixing studs, battens, and sheets Filling small gaps while bonding Fast installation where speed saves labour Suitable surfaces The adhesive works well on the following surface types when properly prepared: Timber and masonry Concrete and fibre cement Many building materials except PE and PP Surface preparation Good preparation is the key to a long lasting repair. Remove loose material, dust, and grease. Wipe glossy areas with methylated spirits or an approved cleaner and allow to dry. On very smooth plastics and metals, lightly roughen with fine abrasive paper to give the adhesive a mechanical key. Dry fit parts first and mark alignment points so you can assemble accurately within the open time. If bonding porous materials, ensure both faces are dry and free of surface chalking. How to use Check fit and plan clamping. Do a trial run without adhesive so you know the order of steps. Apply a thin, continuous bead to one surface. For wide pieces, use a zig zag pattern to maximise wetting. Bring surfaces together within the stated open time of assemble parts within the open time to ensure a strong bond. Reseat once if needed, then hold steady. Apply even pressure using clamps, tape, weights, or temporary fasteners. Avoid squeezing all adhesive out of the joint. Allow to cure undisturbed. Initial handling strength will develop as the adhesive sets, with a full cure reached based on the chemistry described below. Cure profile Expands slightly to fill gaps, then cures to a firm, high strength foam. Provides excellent initial grab and reduces the need for nails in many applications. Temperature and environmental performance Apply within the can's specified temperature range. Humidity supports foam curing. Avoid application to very cold, sweating, or waterlogged surfaces. For outdoor use protect fresh bonds from rain until the skin has formed and the core has progressed in cure. Once fully cured, the bond resists normal weathering, splash water, and intermittent UV exposure based on the substrate and paint systems used. Clean up and finishing Clean uncured foam with the prescribed cleaner. Once cured, cut back mechanically. When cured, excess can be carefully trimmed or sanded. For painted finishes, allow the adhesive to fully cure before priming. Test paint on a small area to confirm compatibility and drying behaviour. Coverage guide Coverage varies with bead size, surface porosity, and technique. As a general guide, a 3 mm bead yields approximately 10 to 12 linear meters per 310 mL cartridge. Smaller packs scale proportionally. Gaps, rough edges, and highly absorbent materials will reduce coverage. Plan an extra margin for offcuts and practice passes. Tips for best results Work within the recommended open time so the adhesive can properly wet the surfaces. Use light clamping pressure to keep parts aligned while maintaining a film thickness for strength. For very porous substrates, apply a thin precoat as a primer layer and allow it to tack before final assembly. Keep joint lines clean by masking edges with painter tape and removing it before the adhesive skins. Where movement or vibration is expected, design the joint to share load across a large area. Troubleshooting Poor adhesion: Check for oil, release agents, or surface dust. Reclean and lightly abrade if necessary. Slow cure: Low temperature and low humidity extend cure time. Maintain moderate conditions for best results. Visible squeeze out: Wipe fresh material with a suitable solvent and a soft cloth. Once cured, trim carefully. Bond line prints through paint: Allow a full cure, then prime and apply thin coats of paint, allowing proper drying between coats. Storage and shelf life Store cans upright. Do not expose to heat. Observe transport and disposal rules for pressurised containers. Always check the pack for a lot code and use by guidance. Reseal immediately after use and store upright. Dispose of empty containers responsibly. Safety Read the label before use. Wear gloves when handling uncured material. Provide ventilation in enclosed areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If sensitivity occurs, stop use and seek advice. Do not ingest. First aid directions and detailed handling information are available on the package and the safety data sheet. Frequently asked questions Can I bond dissimilar materials? Yes, provided each surface is clean and sound. Differences in expansion are managed by the adhesive film thickness and the inherent flexibility after cure. Is clamping required? Light clamping improves alignment and final strength. Excessive pressure can starve the joint of adhesive which reduces performance. Is the bond water resistant? Once cured the bond resists splash water and routine humidity. For permanent immersion choose an adhesive designed for underwater service and follow the manufacturer guidance. Planning your job Measure twice and cut once. Dry assemble parts so you can confirm squareness and alignment before adhesive is involved. Keep rags, clamps, and spacers ready. If you are new to the product, test on offcuts to get a feel for bead size and squeeze out. A consistent 1 to 2 mm bond line is a good starting point for most rigid materials. Thicker lines help when surfaces are uneven. Avoid starving the joint by pressing too hard without giving the adhesive a place to reside. Responsible use Choose an adhesive that suits the materials and the environment the finished piece will face. If a joint will be submerged, carry structural loads, or be exposed to strong chemicals, check the technical data sheet for specific guidance. Many general purpose products are perfect for day to day work, while specialised tasks call for a system designed and tested for that environment. Using the right product first saves time, money, and rework. Aftercare and maintenance Adhesive joints are remarkably strong when used correctly. Design repairs so that routine loads are shared across a generous area. Where heavy vibration is present, pair the adhesive bond with appropriate mechanical fasteners. Keep cleaning chemicals mild, and avoid abrasive pads on visible joints. If a bond will be repainted, choose flexible paint where movement is expected, and keep edges sealed to prevent dirt tracking along the bond line. Recycling and disposal Allow empty containers to cure before disposal. Check local council guidance for recycling of plastics and metal cartridges. Never pour uncured product into drains or soil. Wipe tools on scrap material and let residue harden before placing in general waste. Smart handling keeps the workspace clean and reduces environmental impact.

Overview This high-quality general-purpose silicone sealant is a versatile solution for a wide range of sealing and bonding applications. Engineered with neutral cure technology, it is designed to provide a durable, flexible, and weather-resistant seal that remains reliable even in demanding environments. Once cured, the sealant forms a strong rubber-like finish that is permanently elastic, ensuring long-lasting performance both indoors and outdoors. Key Features Neutral Cure Technology: Low-odor curing system suitable for sensitive applications. Permanently Flexible: Retains elasticity over time without cracking or shrinking. Waterproof Protection: Provides a watertight seal, protecting against leaks and moisture ingress. Interior & Exterior Use: Unaffected by rain, snow, extreme temperatures, or prolonged UV exposure. Excellent Adhesion: Bonds strongly to most common building materials without primer. Easy Application: Smooth flow from the tube, easy to tool and clean before curing. Applications This sealant is designed for general-purpose use across a variety of materials and environments. Its flexibility and adhesion make it suitable for: Sealing around window and door frames. Lap joints in metal guttering and roofing sheets. Bonding panels such as wood, plasterboard, insulation board, and drywall. Fixing masonry joints including sills, brickwork, and decorative trims. Gap filling around pipes, conduits, and penetration surfaces. General sealing in kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas where flexibility is required. Limitations Not suitable for permanent water immersion (e.g., underwater joints or continuous water load). Not recommended for use on polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), PTFE, neoprene, bituminous surfaces, or very soft plastics. Not intended for deep cavity filling without adequate moisture for curing. Surface Preparation To ensure maximum performance, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose particles. Non-porous surfaces should be wiped with solvent and dried with a clean cloth. Porous surfaces should be lightly abraded or brushed to remove contaminants and improve adhesion. Complete any painting work before applying the sealant. Application Instructions Remove the cap and pierce the nozzle seal. Apply steadily along the joint or surface, ensuring continuous contact. Smooth or tool the bead before skin formation occurs. If masking tape is used, remove immediately after tooling to avoid tearing the cured seal. Curing At room temperature (23°C), the sealant will skin over within 15 minutes and achieve full cure within 24 hours, depending on humidity and joint depth. Once cured, it provides a permanently flexible and weatherproof joint. Cleaning & Maintenance Excess uncured sealant can be cleaned using a cloth dampened with mineral turpentine. Fully cured material should be trimmed away carefully with a sharp blade. Store unused tubes in a cool, dry place below 25°C and away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is up to 12 months from the date of manufacture. Health & Safety Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes, as uncured sealant may cause irritation. In case of contact with eyes, flush thoroughly with water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children. Always follow safety instructions and refer to the product’s safety data for detailed guidance. Why Choose This General Purpose Silicone Sealant? This sealant is a trusted choice for tradespeople, DIY enthusiasts, and homeowners seeking a reliable solution for everyday sealing needs. Its combination of flexibility, adhesion, and weather resistance ensures that once applied, it continues to protect and bond effectively for years to come. Whether you are fixing a leaking gutter, sealing around windows, or bonding decorative trims, this product provides professional results with minimal effort. Sold Out  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Selleys Butyl Mastic is a synthetic resin, butyl rubber based mastic which forms a smooth tough skin, but remains permanently plastic underneath. It is available Off White. Features Remains permanently plastic under a smooth tough skin Versatile sealant with excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates without the necessity to prime Will not bleed into porous surfaces Non-sag in joints up to 12mm vertical joint Wide service temperature: –35° to +65°C Excellent weathering characteristics Does not corrode metals Good water resistance Life expectancy is approximately 5 years in a thick joint. It is recommended to use silicone sealant in thinner joints Easy smoothing and clean-up with mineral turps or white spirits Where can this product be used? Sealing aluminium windows to masonry. Sealing joints between pre-cast concrete panels or porcelain enamelled panels. Sealing edges of all types of wallboards or wherever a permanent waterproof seal is required. Sealing lap joints between metal applications with the inclusion of fasteners. Ideal for dust proofing cars, trucks, caravans, boats, etc. and is suitable for sealing cracks and gaps around brickwork, roofing and cladding.  What materials is this product suitable for? Please contact your store to confirm avaliability, as some stores may have a limited range. The following should only be used as a guide and the installer should apply all Australian Standards, BCA/NZBC requirements, and best practices when installing. Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease, old mastic and  flaking paint. If necessary clean with degreasing solvent such as white spirits. Cut nozzle supplied at an angle and to the required opening. Cut end off nipple on cartridge, fit nozzle and insert in suitable caulking gun such as the Selleys Light Speed caulking gun. If sealing lap joints, apply suitable size bead of Butyl Mastic to one surface through the intended fasten line. Bring surfaces together squeezing the mastic bead out on both surfaces and mechanically fix join where necessary. If sealing open joints, apply Butyl Mastic by forcing it into the joint ahead of the nozzle. This method aids in properly filling the joint and forcing mastic to wet on to the sides of the joint. If required, smooth surface with spatula dipped into mineral turps. Limitations: Not an elastomeric compound, it should not be used in joints subject to considerable dynamic movement. Should not be used where joint movement will exceed ±8%. Maximum service is achieved when used within joints; it is not recommended to be used as a "skim" coating over joints. Not recommended for use in joints required to resist static air or water pressure.  Surfaces must be clean and dry. Life expectancy in joints is approximately 5 years Interior applications may have greatly extended skin over time due to the reduced presence of sunlight. Allow surface to skin before painting, i.e. approximately 24 hours after application. Butyl Mastic can be painted over using oil or water based paints after the surface has skinned.
