After mixing, it forms a concrete repair polymer that cures to a concrete-like color and texture. The mixture readily sticks to concrete and masonry surfaces and is easily shaped. It will stick to ceramics, glass, metals and some plastics. It cures within 60 minutes. Each stick contains pre-measured portions of activator and base — no measuring or mixing tools are necessary. Here are just a few specific uses (there are hundreds of other uses): Quickly rebuild small missing pieces of concrete Fill holes in concrete and masonry Rebuild missing pieces of statues and birdbaths Seal hole for wire or conduit thru cinder block Fill chip or spall in concrete furniture Reattach loose or popped decorative stone Fill crack in stone fireplace Fill holes in brick or concrete walls; Apartment complexes, schools, government buildings etc. Fill cracks in concrete or stucco wall before painting Attach address numbers to brick or stone Attach hardware to brick or stone Fill abandoned screw holes and mounting holes in brick or cinderblock Replace missing mortar Seal rodent hole in cinderblock or concrete How to prepare a surface for bonding with PC-Crete™ Old concrete must be clean and profiled or textured. Smooth, glossy and shiny surfaces should be roughened using sandpaper to increase adhesion. How to clean-up after PC-Crete™ application Clean up mixed epoxy before it cures with paper towels and solvent. Denatured alcohol (ethanol), acetone, rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or lacquer thinner are suitable solvents for removing uncured epoxy. Cured epoxy can be removed with paint stripper or remover. Can PC-Crete™ be used to repair a crack in a fountain? PC-Crete™ looks like concrete and is excellent for repairing concrete fountains, statues and lawn decorations. Will PC-Crete™ adhere to a concrete step? Can it be shaped to match a corner? PC- Crete™ is excellent to repairs on concrete surfaces such as steps. It shapes easily and can be sanded to match the look and texture of the concrete surface. Is PC-Crete™ suitable for filling a small crack or spall in a sidewalk or deck? Small crack repairs in concrete are easily made with or without the use of tools using PC-Crete™. PC-Crete™ is excellent for replacing missing or loose mortar between bricks and stones. Can PC-Crete™ be used in a fish tank or pond? PC-Crete™ is not recommended for aquatic use. Do not use this product in aquariums or ponds. The PC-Crete™ is not easily grabbing or sticking to the concrete surface. It pulls away lifting loose stones The putty wants to stick to the fingers more than the concrete surface. Wet the fingers with alcohol and then press, shape and smooth the applied putty. DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE has superior flexibility and high grab to support even the heaviest of wall tiles. SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces must be consistently flat and firmly fixed. Clean off dust, oil, grease and all loose contaminating materials or coatings. Ensure surfaces are dry, with no residue or permanent dampness. Prime porous surfaces (e.g. fibre- cement sheets, cement render) with DUNLOP®PRIMER & ADDITIVE beforehand and allow to dry. Cement Render Allow to cure for at least 7 days. Render should have a wood float finish. Plasterboard There is no need to prime the cardboard surface. However, where sheets are joined, DUNLOP®PRIMER & ADDITIVE must be used over the base jointing compound. Do not use the topping compound in areas which are to be tiled. Compressed Fibre-Cement Sheets Remove surface dust with a damp sponge and prime with DUNLOP®PRIMER & ADDITIVE and allow to dry before tiling. Painted Surfaces Oil-based paint should be roughened mechanically and loose flaking paint should be removed. Ensure the paint is suitable for tiling over. Thoroughly remove water-based paints. Do not use paint stripper or solvents. Allow surface to dry after cleaning. MIXING No mixing required. APPLICATION As a general guide use a 6mm notch trowel to spread adhesive achieving a minimum 1mm bed thickness. Do not wet tiles before fixing. If backs of tiles are dusty clean with a damp sponge. Spread the adhesive with the notches running horizontally across the wall. Spread only one square metre at a time and ensure a skin has not developed on the adhesive before bedding tiles. Press and slide the tile into position ensuring the whole of the back of the tile is in good contact with the adhesive. Use tile spacers if desired to ensure even spacing. Remove any surplus adhesive on face of tile or between joints before it sets. Adjustment of tiles should be carried out within 60 minutes of laying (at 23°C and 50% humidity). COVERAGE DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE will cover approximately 0.5m2per kg. Coverage will vary depending on the condition of the surface being tiled and application technique. DRYING TIME DUNLOP®WALL TILE ADHESIVE will dry in approximately 24 hours depending on ambient temperature, porosity of surface and tiles. MOVEMENT JOINTS Incorporate movement joints at 3.5m intervals and at internal corners. Any structural movement joints must be carried through to the face of the tiling, at junctions between different background material and at fixtures interrupting the tile surface. These joints should be about 6mm wide and and kept free from adhesive. They should be filled with a high quality flexible material e.g. DUNLOP®COLOURED SILICONE. GROUTING Wait until adhesive has set. This takes approximately 24 hours. Remove tile spacers and use DUNLOP®GROUT adding DUNLOP®PRIMER AND ADDITIVE to enhance colour, impart a degree of flexibility and reduce porosity and staining. It is ideal for indoor and outdoor use with excellent UV resistance, suitable for a variety of surfaces. Application: Apply sealer by brush, roller, or low-volume spray applicator. Avoid excess application. Remove any material that hasn’t penetrated after 10 minutes with a cloth. Most surfaces require two coats, but porous surfaces may need additional coats. Allow 30 minutes drying time between coats. Drying Time: 30 minutes to 1 hour between coats. 24 hours before light foot traffic. 3 days for rubber wheeled traffic. 7 days for full curing. Dunlop Floor Tile Adhesive is a high-performance, general-purpose adhesive suitable for ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and some natural stone tiles (excluding moisture-sensitive stones). It can be used on cement screeds, concrete, and compressed fibre-cement sheets for both indoor and outdoor flooring. DUNLOP FLOOR TILE ADHESIVE is a versatile general-purpose adhesive designed for fixing a range of floor tiles, both indoors and outdoors. It adheres well to surfaces like concrete, compressed fibre-cement sheets, cement screeds, and existing tiles. For timber floors or areas with potential movement, use DUNLOP WALL AND FLOOR TILE ADHESIVE instead. All surfaces must be clean and dry with no residual moisture or permanent dampness. Prime porous substrates with DUNLOP PRIMER & ADDITIVE or DUNLOP MULTIPURPOSE PRIMER. Concrete Floors Concrete must have a wood float finish and be fully cured (min. 4 weeks). Screeds should be at least 7 days old. Remove sealers, curing compounds, or any laitance by mechanical means. Roughen steel trowel finishes to ensure bonding. Cement Screeded Floors Ensure screeds are properly cured and level, finishing with a wood float. New screeds must cure for at least 7 days before tiling. Compressed Fibre-Cement Sheets Install according to the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring the surface is clean. Priming is recommended. Existing Tiles (indoors only) Ensure tiles are stable and roughen their surfaces by mechanical means, removing at least 80% of the glaze. MIXING Mix the adhesive by adding powder to water. Use approx. 400ml of water per 1kg of powder. Stir to a thick, creamy consistency using a mechanical mixer, let stand for 5 minutes, and re-stir. The mixture is usable for 2.5 hours depending on temperature. APPLICATION Tile installation should comply with AS3958.1 standards. Use a notched trowel (10mm for floors) to apply. Spread adhesive over 1m² sections to avoid skinning before tile bedding. Ensure full coverage by pressing tiles at right angles to the adhesive. Large tiles or those with deep keys may require back buttering. Remove excess adhesive from joints and surfaces before the adhesive sets. Allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before grouting. DRYING TIMES & GROUTING Grouting can begin after 24 hours at 23°C and 50% humidity. For larger tiles or humid climates, extend drying time. Use DUNLOP COLOURED GROUT or DUNLOP WIDE JOINT GROUT for joints wider than 8mm. MOVEMENT JOINTS Follow AS3958 standards for movement joints. Ensure joints are present at 3–5m intervals and around the perimeter. Keep joints approx. 6mm wide and fill with a flexible material like DUNLOP COLOURED SILICONE. COVERAGE Coverage varies based on substrate and trowel size: 10mm trowel: approx. 0.4m² per kg For example: 4kg covers approx. 1.6m². CLEAN UP Clean tools and spills with water immediately after use. SHELF LIFE 12 months if stored in original, unopened packaging at 23°C and 50% relative humidity. PRECAUTIONS Not suitable for continuous immersion (e.g. pools). Use DUNLOP TILE-ALL for these applications. Avoid use on timber or non-absorbent substrates (e.g. metal). Ensure proper PPE is worn during preparation and application.
