NOT SUITABLE FOR: Not suitable for PE, PP, silicone resins, PTFE, Styrofoam®, fabrics and leather clothing. BEFORE USE: Working conditions Do not use at temperatures below +10 °C. The glue responds best to an air humidity level of 50-70 %. Surface requirements Surfaces to be glued must be clean, dry, and free of dust and grease, and must fit exactly. Preliminary surface treatment Any dust, oil, grease, wax or separating agent should be thoroughly removed from the surfaces to be stuck together. The best way to achieve this is to rub the parts a number of times with appropriate solvents, such as acetone (if suitable for the material – check first!). For metals and metal alloys it is usually sufficient to roughen the surface using emery paper or by grinding or brushing. DURING USE: Directions for use 1. To pierce the membrane, turn the cap clockwise firmly onto the tube. Tip: do not press the tube while piercing. 2. Unscrew the cap to reveal the applicator. Apply the adhesive directly from the tube, using the nozzle, as thinly as possible onto one side (too much glue slows down the curing process significantly). Press parts together immediately. After use, clean nozzle with a dry tissue and replace cap. Advice When glueing at low humidity, curing time can be shortened by briefly breathing onto one of the parts to be assembled. The best glueing results are reached at room temperature. Points of attention Contains cyanoacrylate. Bonds skin and eyelids together in seconds. If product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin, glue can be dissolved by soaking in warm soapy water. Then apply a skin cream. May cause respiratory irritation. Avoid breathing vapours. Keep out of the reach of children. AFTER USE: Stains/residue Wipe off excess glue immediately with a dry cloth. After curing, glue residue is very difficult to remove. Acetone will dissolve glue but very slowly (check suitability first). Storage conditions Store in a dry, cool, frost-free place. When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of gap filler, and a perfect finish. If you are going to wipe off the excess gap filler with a wet finger, ensure you wet your finger with water and not saliva, as saliva contains bacteria and this will increase the chances of mould growing in your gap filler. Allow the surfaces to skin prior to painting, which is approximately 20 minutes. Protect from rain until firmly skinned. Allow for longer skin and cure times in damp conditions. Some water based under coats and flat paints may crack on drying. To reduce this effect allows the product to cure for 24 hours in small gaps or 48 hours in larger gaps before painting with such paints. Selleys No More Gaps Bricks and Mortar is a textured, ready to use weather-resistant gap filler available in a range of colours to match your existing mortar. It's mortar like texture allows easy repair of unsightly cracks and gaps in brickwork around the home. Features Ready mixed mortar filler, so is quick and easy to apply with a caulking gun. Has a mortar like texture for a textured finish and match to cement mortar and render. Is more flexible than mortar which will help prevent more damage to the mortar Is weather and UV resistant with a UV stable formula to prevent colour deterioration. Provides a more suitable finish on rendered walls than smooth fillers. Contains a fungicide and algaecide to protect against unsightly mould and algae growth. Has superior adhesion to a broad range of surfaces, making it easy to use. Will not stain building materials Can be painted over with both water and oil based paints, after the surface has skinned. (Approximately 2 hours after application). Is water based, so can be cleaned up with water easily. Is sandable when dry for a rough or smooth finish. Where can this product be used? Cut cartridge tip, fit nozzle and cut to desired opening (5mm) then insert into caulking gun. We recommend Selleys Light Speed Caulking Gun. Apply using caulking gun. Apply with caulking gun, forcing product into gap. Press into cracks and holes using a spatula or wet finger. Clean away excess from surfaces immediately using a damp cloth. Features Superior water resistance. Superior flexibility to cope with building movement, meaning the cracks and gaps will be hidden for longer. Up to +/- 25% movement capability. Optimum adhesion is achieved on ceramics, glass, aluminium, most plastic and cement. Mould resistant-contains a fungicide to help protect against unsightly mould growth. Cut seal and nozzle and fit to cartridge. Insert into a quality caulking gun, such as Selleys Light Speed caulking gun. Apply with caulking gun, forcing product into gap Smooth with a wet spatula. Clean up with a damp cloth immediately, before filler skins in approx. 10-15 minutes. Allow surfaces to skin prior to painting (approximately 1 hour). Skin time will be extended in cold or humid conditions, or if painting with flat or ceiling paints (approximately 3 hours) To allow product to strengthen, protect from water for 24 hours. Limitations: Should not be used in permanently damp locations. Use Selleys® Wet Area Silicone Sealant around sinks, baths and shower recesses. Not recommended for prolonged contact with water. Handy Tips Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up. When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of gap filler. Remove the tape before the gap filler skins. If you are going to wipe off the excess gap filler with a wet finger, ensure you wet your finger with water and not saliva, as saliva contains bacteria and this will increase the chances of mould growing in your gap filler. It is best to use a spatula dipped in soapy water. Clean off all excess No More Gaps Bathroom & Kitchen from equipment immediately before it cures with a damp cloth. Once cured, No More Gaps Bathroom & Kitchen is extremely difficult to remove and must be trimmed with a knife. Keep a pack of Selleys Sugar Soap Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job. To avoid paint cracking, apply at temperatures above 5°C and do not apply paint too thick.
