Cut cartridge tip, fit to the nozzle and cut to size (5mm), then place in the caulking gun. Apply with the caulking gun, pushing sealant into joint or gaps. Smooth off using a spatula dipped in turps, within 5 minutes of applying. If painting, paint with two coats of a quality water-based exterior paint. Storage and re-use Store in cool, dry conditions below 30°C. Use within 6 months of opening. Clean up Clean up with turps before Storm cures. The cured sealant can be removed by scraping or sanding or with the help of Selleys Silicone Remover. Handy Hints For neater joints, mask sides before applying sealant and remove the tape before sealant skins. Paint with water-based paint. If the paint does not wet out sealant surface properly, lightly sand sealant before painting. Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, to the size of the gap opening. Fit the nozzle to the top of the cartridge and insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as Selleys Light Speed Caulking gun. Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle and gun sealant ahead of nozzle ensuring product is pushed into joint. For a smooth finish, tool with a spatula dipped in soapy water. Clean up before sealant skins in 5-10 minutes, with a cloth dampened in mineral turps. Sealant will cure in 72 hours. At this point any unneeded sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid under-cutting the seal. Limitation: • Not paintable. Complete painting 7 days prior to applying sealant. • Not recommended for use as a plug for burst pipes. • Do not use in below waterline applications. ^Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon - pre-test plastics before use Handy tips For neater joints, mask sides before applying sealant and remove tape before sealant skins. Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle and gun sealant ahead of nozzle ensuring product is pushed into joint. For a smooth finish, tool with a spatula dipped in soapy water. Clean up before sealant skins in 5-10 minutes, with a cloth dampened in mineral turps. Sealant will cure in 72 hours. Gorilla All Purpose Epoxy Stick is a hand mixable putty that sets in about 10 minutes and cures in 24 hours to a tough, machinable finish. Once cured it can be drilled, sanded, and painted. Bonded wood should not be submerged or soaked after repair. How to use Wear disposable gloves. Work in a well ventilated area. Prepare the surface. Clean off dust, oil, and loose material. Roughen smooth surfaces with sandpaper. Cut the amount you need. Remove the film wrapper and foil sticker. Reseal unused putty to limit air exposure. Knead for 30 to 60 seconds until the colour is uniform. Mix thoroughly or it will not harden completely. Apply within 5 minutes of mixing. Press firmly into place. Smooth with wet gloved fingers if a smooth finish is desired. Remove any squeeze out before hardening. Allow to set about 10 minutes. Paint after about 1 hour. Full cure about 24 hours.
