It's mortar like texture allows easy repair of unsightly cracks and gaps in brickwork around the home. Features Ready mixed mortar filler, so is quick and easy to apply with a caulking gun. Has a mortar like texture for a textured finish and match to cement mortar and render. Is more flexible than mortar which will help prevent more damage to the mortar Is weather and UV resistant with a UV stable formula to prevent colour deterioration. Provides a more suitable finish on rendered walls than smooth fillers. Contains a fungicide and algaecide to protect against unsightly mould and algae growth. Has superior adhesion to a broad range of surfaces, making it easy to use. Will not stain building materials Can be painted over with both water and oil based paints, after the surface has skinned. Cut cartridge tip, fit nozzle and cut to desired opening (5mm) then insert into caulking gun. We recommend Selleys Light Speed Caulking Gun. Apply using caulking gun. Apply with caulking gun, forcing product into gap. Press into cracks and holes using a spatula or wet finger. Clean away excess from surfaces immediately using a damp cloth. For larger cracks & holes, 2 applications may be necessary. Allow first application to dry before applying second. Hardens in 24 hours depending on weather. Protect from rain until firmly skinned. Limitations: Not suitable for areas of continuous water immersion. Not suitable as a substitute for mortar in construction as it does not have the structural properties of mortar. Uses Ideal for adhering mirrors to walls, metal letterboxes to exterior walls, house numbers to exterior walls, bathroom fixtures to tiles, tool holders on metal shed walls etc. Liquid Nails Mirror, Metal, Glass is also suitable for use on BHP decorative sheet metals such as Lysaght, Zincalume, Colorbond®, Marviplate®, galvanised metals, Alcan and Comalco aluminium systems. Technical Features Will not discolour mirrors Heat and steam resistance Adheres metal, glass and mirror well to most surfaces including painted surfaces but not wall coverings Adheres and forms a durable seal between sheet metals Gap filling on uneven surfaces Forms flexible/shock resistant bonds UV resistant Low odour during application Non corrosive Weather resistant Application Tips All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dirt dust, oil and loose rust. Clean surfaces with mineral turpentine and wipe dry with a clean rag before applying. Painted surfaces should not be flaky or peeling. Cut tip off cartridge and cut nozzle to suitable size opening (approximately 5mm). Fit nozzle to cartridge. Place cartridge into caulking gun. Support bond until adhesive cures sufficiently (at least 48 hours adhesive cures at 2mm depth per day). APPLICATION FOR MIRRORS For mirrors up to 6mm thick, apply strips of adhesive 5cm from edges and approx 8cm apart When mirror is pressed onto the wall, strips of adhesive must not spread into, or touch one another. A gap must remain between them. Immediately after applying adhesive, place mirror against wall before adhesive skins (within 5 minutes) The weight must be supported and mirror must be held in place with temporary supports (e.g. with clips or tape) to hold and maintain adhesive contact over the total bond area until sufficient adhesive strength has developed. Normally after 72 hours. Do not seal around the edges of the mirror for at least a week to allow air circulation and aid the adhesive fully cure Mirrors should not be fixed directly to unpainted plaster, timber, concrete or brick walls. These surfaces should be painted to prevent potential damage to mirror. Painted surfaces should not be flaking or peeling. Not recommended for fixing vinyl back mirrors If in doubt, conduct an adhesion test by curing a little adhesive onto mirror backing for 24 hours. If adhesive can be peeled off, do not proceed. GENERAL APPLICATION Apply as for mirrors and press surfaces together immediately Leave ‘squeeze out ‘ to cure and trim (avoid cutting into the bond) Support bond until adhesive cures sufficiently (normally after 72hrs). Waterproof – Uncompromising durability, with excellent water, weather and heat resistance. Can be used to bond most materials, and for most interior & exterior applications. Its advanced formulation exceeds the requirements of BS-EN204 D4 for durability. Resistant (after full cure) to heat to 100 degrees C and cold to -30 degrees C. See “Limitations” below. Does not drip, sag or string between panels. Bridges gap up to 5mm hence can be used on rough and ill-fitting construction materials. Product expands slightly as it cures. Cut cartridge tip, fit nozzle and cut end to desired width (approx 5mm diameter). 2. Apply bead along the length of one bonding surface. On broad surfaces apply beads every 40cm. (‘zig-zag’ beads are more appropriate on surfaces of moderate width; eg shiplap panels.) 3. Position pieces and press firmly together. Fix with sufficient nails, screws or clamping to hold the load and achieve contact over the total bond area. Repositionable for up to 5 mins after fitting. 4. Apply to surface to be repaired (within 12 minutes of mixing) and work the material forcefully into the surface applying pressure until adhesion begins to take effect. Mould to shape if required. If material sticks to fingers, use the plastic wrapper to press the material in place. For a smooth appearance, remove excess and hand rub with water or damp cloth before hardening begins. Trim away any excess before initial hardening. Remove any residues with acetone prior to initial hardening. Hardened excess may be sanded or trimmed away once fully cured. After 20-30 minutes Knead-It Aqua will harden and begin to form a strong bond. Allow for longer cure times at lower temperatures. After 60 minutes Knead-It Aqua may be drilled, sanded, machined, filed, sawed or painted. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after use. Handy tips Ensure the putty and hardener are mixed properly. Knead-It will become warm as it is mixed, A good indication its mixed properly is when you have a uniform colour and feel a mild heat radiating from the knead-it. To help determine when your knead it has set, keep a small piece off to check- when it is hard, it indicates your job is done. For best results, use Knead-It Multi-Purpose for applications in contact with drinking water. Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle. Press the nozzle opening against the joint, apply steady pressure to the caulking gun and extrude the silicone sealant forcing the sealant into the gap and move in a pushing motion, along the joint in one smooth action. For a smooth finish, smooth with a finger dipped in mineral turpetine or for a professional finish use a paint scraper such as a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper dipped in mineral turpetine. Excess sealant must be cleaned up before the sealant skins in 5-10 minutes. Wipe excess away with a cloth dampened in mineral turpetine or use a SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipe. Remove tape before the sealant skins. Clean tools immediately in mineral turpetine. Avoid smearing on surrounding surfaces, see handy tip. Sealant will cure fully in 72 hours. As this point, any unwanted sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade but avoid undercutting the seal. For aquariums, allow the product to fully cure for 7 days. Prior to usage, thoroughly wash out with water, drain and refill before introducing fish. Suitable for constructing and repairing small aquariums. The specialist design required for large tanks. Contact SELLEYS if unsure. Handy tips Tips for Using a Silicone Sealant on Glass Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up. The depth of the sealant should be no more than 10mm in joints. To fill larger joints use a suitable backing rod (such as closed cell polyethylene foam or similar), leaving the gap depth no larger than half the width of the joint. When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant. Remove the tape before the silicone sealant skins. For a better finish complete painting prior to use of the sealant as it can not be painted over. For a better finish, use a spatula dipped in mineral turpetine or detergent and water to tool off the sealant. Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface may result, so working in sections allows for a better finish. Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures. They are an easy and effective way to keep clean on the job. Safetytips Uncured product may irritate eyes. Avoid contact with skin, if contact occurs, wipe off immediately and wash with detergent. It may irritate sensitive skin. Avoid breathing in vapours. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full details.Storage and re-use Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C The sealant should be used within 6 months after opening. After use, keep the nozzle on the cartridge. Silicone is a reactive product and is designed to cure once exposed to humidity. While the product may be stored for a few months once opened, it does have a limited shelf life. Storage in an upright position in a cool dry place is recommended to maximise the storage life. If the sealant is going to be used again within a few days, leave the nozzle on and merely extrude approximately 2 cm of the product before storing the cartridge upright. This will cure to a plug which can easily be pulled out when required. For longer storage periods, leave the nozzle on and place a piece of plasticene or Blu Tack over the end of the nozzle. Tightly tape a piece of aluminium foil over the whole nozzle to exclude any air. When you want to re-use the product, simply take off the foil and plug from the old nozzle pull out the excess silicone from the nozzle with a corkscrew, then re-pierce any cure at the tip of the cartridge and re-use. If cure has taken place into the cartridge, the product is unlikely to be in a useable state and should be discarded.

Selleys Plasti-Bond Heavy Duty is a two part polyester filler built for repairs that have to carry load, not simply look tidy. Once the hardener is stirred through, it firms up to a dense, rigid mass in about twenty minutes without the shrinking or cracking that catches out lightweight patching compounds, and it holds its shape well enough to be drilled, tapped and fixed into after curing. The 400g can covers the middle ground jobs that a small pack runs short on. What it is The pack contains an off white polyester putty base and a separate hardener that is mixed in immediately before use. Working time is short, around five minutes at normal room temperature, so the product is mixed in batches rather than all at once. Cured Plasti-Bond can be sawn, drilled, filed, sanded and painted, and the base can be tinted with cement oxides or paint tinters before the hardener goes in if a coloured finish is wanted. Where to use it Indoors: filling holes, cracks and splits in walls, ceilings, floors and doors; rebuilding worn areas around hinges, locks and door handles; making good chipped tiles and ceramics; anchoring bolts and fixtures into masonry; stopping countersunk fastener heads flush in almost any material. Outdoors: patching chipped concrete steps and paths, repairing galvanised guttering and downpipes, and restoring fibreglass, timber and metal on furniture, sporting gear, cars, caravans and boats above the water line. Outdoor repairs should be painted, since the cured filler can discolour if left bare in sunlight. How to use it Prepare the surface so it is clean, dry, unpainted and free of grease or oil. On steel or aluminium panel work that will see vibration, punch or drill the area first to give the filler a positive key. Stir the base thoroughly, then blend in the hardener, working the mix from side to side until the colour is completely uniform. Extra hardener speeds the set in cold weather; less hardener buys time across several separate fills. Apply with a putty knife or spatula, pressing firmly into the repair and slightly overfilling to leave material for sanding. Feather the edges as you go. Take off most of the excess with a Surform or file between roughly twenty and thirty minutes, while it is firm but not yet rock hard. Once fully hard, finish with ordinary files or sandpaper. Paint with water based or oil based paint. Clean tools with mineral turps before the product cures. Important notes Not suitable for continuous immersion or for joints that need to stay flexible. May not adhere to polyethylene, polypropylene or PTFE. Can discolour if left unpainted outdoors. Mix only what you can apply inside the working time; cured material cannot be re-softened. It is supplied in a 280g tube fitted with a foam applicator tip for neat, controlled application straight onto the grout line. Where to use it Indoor: Tiled walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens and laundries. Suitable for use on cement-based grout between ceramic and porcelain tiles. This is an interior-use product and is not intended for outdoor application. How to use Clean the tiled area and grout thoroughly and allow it to dry completely. Wearing gloves, an apron and old clothing is recommended. Press the foam applicator firmly against the grout and apply even pressure to the tube while moving the applicator along the grout lines. High-Grade Neutral Cure Silicone A high-grade neutral (non-corrosive) cure silicone formulated for superior adhesion to cement (e.g., grout). The product also contains a fungicidal protector for excellent mould and fungal resistance. Features Superior adhesion to mortar, grout, and metals. As the product does not lift at the edges and adheres so well to cement and grout, dirt, mould, and fungus will not become trapped, preventing unsightly black mould spots. Superior silicone formulation forms a durable seal that locks out water and does not shrink when drying. Built-in fungicide to inhibit the growth of mould. Available in a range of colours to suit most wet areas. Non-corrosive neutral cure formula. Low odour, so can be used in any environment without discomfort. Easy to clean once applied, as it resists moisture, hot cooking oils, and steam. Superior flexibility with +/- 25% movement capability and up to 400% elongation or stretch. What materials is this product suitable for? Ceramic, glazed & porcelain fixtures Metal, copper, and brass fittings Plastic laminates Rubber Glass Stainless steel Concrete and grouts Many plastics including polystyrene How to use this product Thoroughly clean and dry the surface from oil, dirt, and grease with Mineral Turpentine first and then Methylated Spirits. Allow to dry completely before applying silicone. If there is old silicone that needs to be removed, we recommend using SELLEYS SILICONE REMOVER. This ingenious product makes removing old silicone easy. We also recommend sanding the surface back with a good quality sanding block, such as a ROTA COTA Sanding Block Medium/Course Grain, as the silicone will adhere more readily to a scratched-up surface. Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product. This ensures a neat finish and makes it easier to clean up. Cut the seal at the top of the cartridge and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, to the size of the gap opening. Fit the nozzle to the top of the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun such as the SELLEYS LIGHT SPEED Caulking Gun. We recommend this caulking gun, as its new innovative pressure release design reduces the mess from run-on and stress on your hands, which is critical if you are doing a lot of sealing. Hold the caulking gun at a 45° angle. Press the nozzle opening against the joint, apply steady pressure to the caulking gun, and extrude the silicone sealant. Move in a pushing motion along the joint in one smooth action. For a smooth finish, smooth with a finger dipped in mineral turpentine or, for a professional finish, use a paint scraper such as a 50mm ROTA COTA Soft Grip Scraper dipped in mineral turpentine. Excess sealant must be cleaned up before it skins in 5-10 minutes. Wipe excess away with a cloth dampened in mineral turpentine or use a SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipe. Remove tape before the sealant skins. Clean tools immediately with mineral turpentine. Avoid smearing on surrounding surfaces. The sealant will cure fully in 72 hours. At this point, any unwanted sealant can be removed by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid undercutting the seal. Handy Tips Ensure you tape both sides of the gap before applying the product for a neat finish and easy cleanup. When first applying, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant. Remove the tape before the silicone sealant skins. For a better finish, complete painting prior to using the sealant as it cannot be painted over. Use a spatula dipped in mineral turpentine or detergent and water to tool off the sealant for a better finish. Work in sections that can be completed before the sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs for a better finish. Keep a pack of SELLEYS Hand Kleen Wipes handy to wipe up spills and clean any material off the skin before it cures. SafetyTips Uncured product may irritate eyes. Avoid contact with skin. If contact occurs, wipe off immediately and wash with detergent. It may irritate sensitive skin. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full details.Storage and Re-Use Store in cool dry conditions, below 30°C. The sealant should be used within 6 months after opening. After use, keep the nozzle on the cartridge. Silicone is a reactive product and cures once exposed to humidity. For longer storage periods, leave the nozzle on and place plasticene or Blu Tack over the end of the nozzle. Tightly tape a piece of aluminium foil over the whole nozzle to exclude any air. When re-using, simply remove the foil and plug from the old nozzle, pull out the excess silicone, and re-pierce the tip of the cartridge. If cure has occurred inside the cartridge, the product is no longer usable and should be discarded.

Liquid Nails Fast is a water-based, high-strength construction adhesive with fast grab and low odour. It has a thick, non-runny consistency and is ideal for adhering timbers and other porous construction materials. Once dry, it has a beige (light tan) finish. Uses Liquid Nails Fast has a high initial grab that reduces the need to support joins while the adhesive cures. The grab works best with porous surfaces. It bonds to a wide range of materials including MDF, particle board, timber, plasterboard, styrene foam, masonry, concrete, tiles, ceramics, metals, plastics*, rubber and glass. Faster results occur when at least one surface is porous. Test plastics before use – adheres well to UPVC but not to polyethylene or polypropylene. For wood flooring, use solvent-based Liquid Nails instead. Satisfactory for fixing sheet flooring to joists with the manufacturer’s minimum nailing specification, but not recommended for bonding sheet flooring to existing or concrete floors.
