Dunlop Dunlop Flexible Coloured Grout 15kg

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Dunlop Flexible Coloured Grout in the trade-size 15kg bag is built for big tiling jobs - whole houses, commercial floors and multi-room renovations. It is the same flexible, smooth-finish formula tilers rely on, with a stronger colour system for rich, even grout lines and Grout Shield anti-mould and anti-bacteria technology that resists mould and bacteria growth in wet areas. The grout works easily, ensures flush joints and leaves no pin holes.Where to use itSuitable for walls and floors, indoors and outdoors, over ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite and mosaic tiles. With a working range of 1mm to 8mm joints it handles fine wall tiling through to wide-format floor tiles, and the grey tones (Misty Grey and Slate Grey) are popular choices for high-traffic floors where joints need to hide everyday wear. How to usePrepare clean, dry joints raked free of adhesive. Mix with clean water to a smooth paste - or with Dunlop Primer & Additive to boost colour, flexibility, adhesion and stain resistance. Apply diagonally with a rubber grout float, pack joints full, remove excess, then sponge the tiles clean once the grout firms and polish off haze. Initial set is around 24 hours, showers can be wet after 3 days, and full cure is reached after 7 days.Important notesInclude about 15% wastage in quantity estimates. Mix batches with consistent water content to avoid colour variation across large floors.Specifications Joint width 1 - 8mm Coverage guide Approx. 0.55kg/m² for 200 x 200 x 8mm tiles at 3mm joints Tile types Ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaics Location Walls and floors, indoor and outdoor SafetyCement-based product - alkaline when wet and may irritate skin and eyes. Wear gloves and eye protection, avoid inhaling dust when emptying and mixing the bag, and wash after use. Keep out of reach of children; see the Safety Data Sheet.

  • Dunlop Easy Clean Epoxy Grout Kit 3.25kg 3.25kg kit

Dunlop Dunlop Easy Clean Epoxy Grout Kit 3.25kg

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Dunlop Easy Clean Epoxy Grout is a high-performance, durable epoxy grout with superior stain resistance that stands up to most household chemicals. Unlike traditional epoxies it is genuinely easy to use and clean during application, and just as easy to maintain afterwards. It also contains Grout Shield, a powerful mould inhibitor that resists the growth of mould and bacteria, keeping joints looking better for longer.Where to use itIdeal for areas subject to high wear and for spaces where strict hygiene matters - kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and swimming pools. Use it indoors and outdoors on walls and floors with ceramic, porcelain, vitrified tiles, mosaics and non-moisture-sensitive natural stone. It fills joints from 1.5mm up to 15mm wide. How to useThe kit comes in three parts: Part A resin, Part B hardener and Part C coloured filler, mixed at approximately 2 : 1 : 5-7 by volume. Mix only what you can use within the working time, work the grout firmly into clean, dry joints with an epoxy float, then emulsify and clean the surface promptly with a lightly damp sponge before the epoxy sets. Finish by polishing the tiles once dry. Mix part-kits accurately if you split the kit across sessions.Important notesEpoxy grout sets chemically, so cleaning off residue promptly is essential - hardened epoxy is very difficult to remove from tile faces. Coverage varies with tile size and joint dimensions; as a guide a kit does approximately 8m² of 200 x 200 x 8mm tiles at 3mm joints.Specifications Joint width 1.5 - 15mm Coverage guide Approx. 8m² per kit for 200 x 200 x 8mm tiles at 3mm joints Tile types Ceramic, porcelain, vitrified, mosaics, non-moisture-sensitive stone Location Walls and floors, indoor and outdoor SafetyEpoxy resins and hardeners can cause skin and eye irritation and sensitisation. Wear gloves and eye protection, ensure good ventilation, avoid skin contact with uncured components, and wash immediately after any contact. Keep out of reach of children and read the Part A, Part B and colour pack Safety Data Sheets before use.

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Dunlop Waterproofing Reinforcing Mat is the quiet workhorse of a Dunlop waterproofing job. This 100mm wide fabric roll is embedded into the wet membrane at every corner, joint and crack, the places where movement and stress are most likely to open up a leak. By carrying the membrane across these weak points, it helps guarantee proper film thickness in the critical zones and lets you apply the second waterproofing coat immediately over the reinforced areas.Where to use itUse it indoors in wet areas as an integral part of the Dunlop waterproofing system, together with Dunlop Undertile Waterproofing. Reinforce wall/floor junctions, wall/wall corners, sheet joints, cracks, shower hobs and hob/floor joints, over metal or PVC angles, and along 90-degree external edges such as balcony perimeters. How to useApply the first coat of membrane to the junction, press a length of mat into the wet membrane so it sits flat without air pockets, then coat over the top so the fabric is fully saturated. The mat also acts as a carrier in awkward, hard-to-reach spots and smooths rough joints so the membrane covers evenly. Cut lengths with scissors or a utility knife as you go.Important notesThe junctions between wall and floor, hob and floor, and vertical corners where two walls meet should always be reinforced. The mat is a reinforcing component, not a standalone waterproofing product; it must be fully encapsulated in membrane.Specifications Size 100mm x 50m roll Use with Dunlop Undertile Waterproofing and Dunlop membranes Application areas Junctions, corners, joints, cracks, hobs, edges SafetyLow-hazard fabric product; take care when cutting and follow the safety directions of the membrane being used. It is the product that makes tile-over-tile renovations possible without demolition, and its rapid-drying formula keeps the job moving.Where to use itSuitable for indoor and outdoor use on walls and floors. In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Use before bonding polyolefins with a Loxeal super glue: Prime the surface, then bond with Istant 23, Istant 25, Istant 27 or Istant 43. Loxeal Primer 7 Polyolefin Primer 20ml Loxeal Primer 7 is a solvent-based surface primer that makes the “unglueable” plastics glueable. Applied before a cyanoacrylate super glue, it raises the surface energy of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), thermoplastic rubbers, EPDM, PTFE and silicones, transforming bond strength on these notoriously low-energy materials. It dries in seconds, is fluorescent under blue light so coverage can be checked, and is recommended for use with Loxeal Istant 34 and other ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesives. Supplied in a 20ml bottle. Why choose Loxeal Primer 7? Unlocks polyolefins – makes PP, PE, PTFE, EPDM and silicone bondable with standard super glues Fast and simple – brush on a thin coat, wait a few seconds, then glue as normal Verifiable coverage – fluoresces under a blue lamp for quality control Long working window – primed surfaces stay active for up to one hour Ultra-thin, fluid consistency – roughly 1.5 mPa·s for even wetting of the surface Typical applications Bonding polypropylene and polyethylene parts, containers and housings PTFE, silicone rubber and EPDM components that resist ordinary adhesives Thermoplastic rubber grips, seals and trims Production and repair work on low surface energy plastics How to use Ensure surfaces are clean and dry. Brush a thin coat of Primer 7 onto the surfaces to be bonded and let it dry for a few seconds. Apply your cyanoacrylate adhesive and press the parts together – handling strength develops within seconds. Bond within one hour of priming for best results; reapply primer if more than eight hours pass. Reseal the bottle immediately after use. Usage notes Primer 7 is intended only for difficult, low surface energy materials – do not use it on substrates that bond readily without priming. Best adhesion is achieved when parts are joined within an hour of application. Specifications Chemistry Aliphatic amine in organic solvent Appearance Colourless; fluorescent under blue light Viscosity (+25°C) 1.5 mPa·s Specific weight (+25°C) 0.7 g/ml On-part life Bond within 1 hour; reapply after 8 hours Shelf life 1 year in original unopened packaging at +25°C Pack size 20ml bottle Important notes Solvent based – use in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources. Store in a cool, dry place below +20°C and do not refill containers with used product. Seal the bottle immediately after each use to preserve the contents. Safety Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use and wear suitable protection when handling. This information is provided as a general guide only. Always test on your specific materials and refer to the manufacturer's technical documentation before use.

For best performance, pair with these Loxeal products: Loxeal Activator 9: accelerates cure to just 1 to 4 seconds on slow, dry or porous surfaces, and sets excess adhesive instantly. Loxeal Primer 7: needed to bond polyolefins such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), PTFE, silicone and EPDM. Loxeal Istant 23 Super Glue Fluid Cyanoacrylate Adhesive 100g Loxeal Istant 23 is a fluid, general purpose super glue built on ethyl cyanoacrylate chemistry. Its low viscosity (40–80 mPa·s) wicks neatly into close-fitting joints, and it bonds rubber, metal and most plastics in seconds by reacting with trace moisture on the surfaces. The medium setting speed leaves a short window to seat parts accurately before the adhesive grabs. Designed to be used with Loxeal super glues: Speeds the cure of Istant 23 Fluid, Istant 25 Medium, Istant 27 High Viscosity and Istant 43 Speciale. Loxeal Activator 9 Cyanoacrylate Accelerator Spray 200ml Loxeal Activator 9 is an accelerator spray for cyanoacrylate super glues that cleans and degreases parts while slashing setting times. Sprayed onto one surface before assembly, it triggers cure in just 1–4 seconds – even on slow, dry or hard-to-activate substrates – and a treated surface stays active for up to 8 hours. It can also be misted over squeezed-out adhesive after assembly to fix the excess instantly. Supplied as a 200ml aerosol for fast, even coverage. Why choose Loxeal Activator 9? Cure in 1–4 seconds – turns slow joints into instant ones Cleans as it works – degreases parts in the same step 8-hour activation window – pre-treat parts ahead of assembly Fixes surplus glue – instantly sets excess adhesive outside the joint Convenient aerosol – quick, even application on parts of any shape Typical applications Speeding up cyanoacrylate cure on wood, porous and acidic surfaces Production assembly where consistent, rapid fixture times matter Cold or low-humidity conditions where super glue sets slowly Instantly curing glue fillets and squeeze-out for a tidy finish How to use Spray a light coat of Activator 9 onto one of the surfaces to be bonded. Allow it to dry for 20–30 seconds. Apply cyanoacrylate adhesive to the other surface and assemble the parts – cure takes effect in 1–4 seconds. Loxeal 30-22 UV-Curable High Viscosity Adhesive 50ml Loxeal 30-22 is a fast-curing, high-strength UV adhesive with a thicker, higher-viscosity consistency designed for glass-to-glass and glass-to-metal bonding. The heavier body gives better control on the joint and lets it bridge gaps up to 2 mm, while its crystal-clear, non-yellowing finish with over 98% light transmittance keeps even generous bond lines virtually invisible — ideal for precious crystal work. Why choose Loxeal 30-22? High viscosity (5,500–7,500 mPa·s) resists flowing off the joint before cure Fills bond lines from 0.03 mm up to 2 mm — more forgiving on uneven parts Cures in seconds under UV light (365 nm) Clear, colourless joints with excellent optical clarity Strong bonds on glass-to-glass and glass-to-metal assemblies Typical applications Glass-to-glass and glass-to-metal bonding in glass furniture, decorative items and crystal ware — especially assemblies with larger or less uniform bond gaps where a runnier adhesive would drain away. How to use Ensure both parts are clean and completely dry. Apply the adhesive to one surface and bring the parts together. At least one part must be UV-transparent — position the assembly before exposure. Cure with a UV source emitting between 365 nm and 420 nm (around 100 mW/cm² recommended); exposure of 6–10 seconds is typically sufficient. Extend the exposure for wider gaps or substrates that filter UV. Cure times Typical fixture under a suitable UV lamp is 6–10 seconds. Cure time varies with lamp intensity, distance from the light source, bond-line gap and the light transmittance of the substrate. Specifications Chemistry Methacrylate ester, UV-curing Colour Clear / colourless Viscosity (+25°C) 5,500–7,500 mPa·s Specific gravity 1.10 g/ml Gap fill 0.03–2 mm Tensile strength (ASTM D-2095-69) 8–12 N/mm² Hardness Shore D 50–65 Elongation at break 80–100% Light transmittance > 98% Refractive index 1.49 Service temperature -55°C to +120°C Flash point > +100°C Shelf life 1 year at +25°C in original unopened packaging Important notes At least one bonded part must transmit UV light for the adhesive to cure. Cure speed drops with tinted or UV-filtering substrates — extend exposure accordingly. Store in a cool, dry place at no more than +25°C, away from daylight; do not return used product to the bottle. Safety Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use and avoid looking directly at UV curing lamps without eye protection. Selleys Araldite Ultimate Bond is a grey two-part epoxy adhesive engineered for the most demanding repairs, delivering a durable, long-lasting bond that holds up to 200kg/cm² when fully cured on stainless steel. It is the toughest of the Araldite range, designed to be tug and snap proof for fixes that need to stay put. About this adhesive Two-part system of resin (Part A) and hardener (Part B) mixed in a 2:1 ratio. Bonds a wide range of surfaces with a strong, rigid, durable join. Sets in around 5 minutes and is touch-firm fast, with a low-odour formula. Made from 20% bio-based carbon. Working (usable) time of roughly 3-4 minutes at 20°C, so mix only what you can apply. What it bonds China, ceramic and porcelain Metal Glass Leather (pre-test for compatibility) Rubber (pre-test for compatibility) Wood and timber Most rigid plastics Where to use it Indoor: repairing crockery, ornaments and ceramics, refitting loose furniture joints, bonding metal, glass and timber components, and general household fixes. Outdoor: durable repairs on tools, garden and workshop items where a tough, weather-durable bond is required. Bond strength depends on substrate, bond size and surface preparation, and set times lengthen in colder weather. How to use it 1. Abrade, clean and dry both surfaces so they are free of dust, grease and loose oxides. 2. Snap the cap from the plunger and carefully cut the sealed tips at the end of the nozzle. 3. Apply even pressure to the plunger to dispense both liquids onto a clean disposable surface (2:1 ratio) and mix thoroughly with a spatula. 4. Apply the mixed glue to both surfaces, then bring them together. 5. Hold in place with tape or weights if needed and avoid undue strain on the joint for at least 60 minutes. Cures in 24 hours; maximise the bond area (minimum 2.25cm²) for best performance after full cure. Replace the cap on the nozzle for storage and clean up any uncured adhesive with acetone. Important notes Will not bond PTFE, polyethylene or polypropylene plastics. Bond will soften above 60°C but strength is restored once the temperature returns to normal. May discolour if exposed to UV. Full cure takes more than 72 hours. Not recommended where a clear, invisible bond is required, as the cured adhesive is grey. Prep Productions Prep Plastermate Stud Adhesive For Plasterboard To Timber And Steel Studs 5.2kg (Acrylic)

In Stock  Express Post: 1-3 Days | Standard Post: 2-5 Days

Plastermate Stud Adhesive is a pre-mixed, trade-quality wallboard adhesive for fixing plasterboard sheets to wall and ceiling framing. Part of the Plastermate plastering range that Prep Productions has manufactured in Sydney for over 25 years, it is used by professional plasterers and DIY renovators alike. The smooth, non-slump paste holds its dab shape, which matters most when you are working overhead on ceilings, and it grabs strongly to both timber and steel studs. It complies with Australian Standard AS 2753, the standard for wallboard adhesives. The 5.2kg pail is the trade size for lining whole rooms.Formula overviewA thick, water-based acrylic paste: an acrylic copolymer binder loaded with fine mineral filler gives it very high viscosity, so dabs stay exactly where you put them without slumping or stringing. It is light blue in colour, ready to use straight from the pail, and non-flammable.Where to use itIndoor: bonding plasterboard to timber studs and metal or steel studs for wall and ceiling linings.Outdoor: not intended for exterior use or wet areas unless the board manufacturer's system specifies otherwise. Check the pail label before using on substrates other than timber or steel framing. How to use Make sure framing is clean, dry and free of dust or oil. Apply walnut-sized dabs of adhesive to the stud face, spaced per the plasterboard manufacturer's specification for the sheet and frame type. Press the sheet into position and fix with screws or nails as the lining system requires. Refer to the pail label for open time and cure guidance. Wash tools and hands in warm soapy water before the adhesive dries. Important notes Dab size and spacing should follow the plasterboard system you are installing; the adhesive complements, not replaces, mechanical fixings. Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight with the lid sealed. Dried residue is combustible even though the wet paste is not; let spills harden and dispose of them per local regulations. Specifications Size 5.2kg pail Type Water-based acrylic stud adhesive Colour Light blue Consistency Thick non-slump paste Substrates Plasterboard to timber and steel studs Standard AS 2753 Clean up Warm soapy water Made in Australia SafetyNot classified as hazardous and not a scheduled poison. The paste is non-flammable. It may mildly irritate eyes, and repeated or prolonged skin contact can cause irritation, so wear safety glasses (especially when fixing ceilings) and rubber gloves, and work with adequate ventilation. If it gets in the eyes, irrigate with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention; skin washes clean with warm soapy water. If swallowed, rinse the mouth, drink water, do not induce vomiting and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children. Refer to the manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet before use.
