SikaGrout Deep Pour is a flowable, precision cementitious grout built for large sections and deep pours of up to 500mm, supplied here as a single 20kg bag. It also has a built-in seal punch and nozzle cleaner, so you can pierce the cartridge seal and clear a blocked nozzle without reaching for another tool.Where to use itIndoors: sealing around baths, basins, sinks and showers, gap filling along skirtings, architraves and cornices, and fixing panels or trims with cartridge adhesives.Outdoors: weatherproofing around window and door frames, sealing gutters and flashings, and applying construction adhesive on outdoor building jobs.It suits all standard cartridges, so it works with the common silicone, acrylic, polyurethane and construction adhesive cartridges sold in Australia. Other formats, such as sausage packs or compact mini cartridges, generally need a matching gun.How to use itRelease the lever and pull the plunger rod fully back. Cut the cartridge nozzle at an angle to suit the bead size you need, then pierce the inner seal with the built-in seal punch. Drop the cartridge into the frame, then squeeze the trigger steadily to feed the material and apply a continuous bead. When you stop, release the lever to relieve pressure at the nozzle. Use the nozzle cleaner if the tip clogs. Wipe the gun down after use, following the cartridge manufacturer's instructions for cleaning off uncured product.Important notesThis is a manual hand tool only. It does not contain or include any sealant or adhesive, so cartridges are sold separately. Always check the cartridge manufacturer's directions for surface preparation, tooling time and cure times. It gives you roughly ten minutes of working time once mixed, so you can fill, tape and move on without waiting for a slow-drying compound to dry. It suits tradies, renovators and keen DIYers who want quick results.About the formulaPro-Repair 10 is a lightweight, low-VOC powder that you mix with water. It is a setting compound, so it hardens by chemical reaction rather than by evaporation. It is tinted so repairs are easy to spot on painted surfaces. It is designed to stick well to jointing tape, to shrink very little, and to sand easily as a topcoat. You can use it for every coat of a three-coat joint or as a base coat only. If you use it for all three coats with an open-weave fibreglass tape such as FibaFuse, you can sand the topcoat on the same day once it has dried enough. It is made in Australia by CSR Gyprock.Where to use itIndoors: patching holes, nicks, cracks and other defects in new and existing plasterboard walls and ceilings, and jointing smaller residential or commercial rooms.Fibre cement: suitable for repairs and jointing on Cemintel fibre cement sheet as well as Gyprock plasterboard.Suitable surfaces are Gyprock plasterboard and fibre cement. It is not recommended for wet areas.How to use itStart with a clean, dust-free surface. Tear the bag open at a top corner and mix with clean water as directed on the pack. Because the working time is short, mix only as much as you can use in one go. Apply by hand with a knife or similar tool. Embed the jointing tape in the base coat, then add further coats as needed. Let the compound dry fully, then sand the topcoat smooth before you prime and paint. Throw away any mixed compound you have not used. Keep unused powder in its original bag with the top rolled down, inside an airtight container.Important notesPro-Repair 10 is a setting compound, so you cannot rework it once it has started to set. Do not add water to extend the working time. It is not recommended for wet areas. Shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture, so store the bag somewhere dry and out of the weather and direct sun. Davco Lanko 752 Bondit is a white PVA emulsion that does three jobs on site: it works as a mortar additive, a primer and a sealer, and it can also bond timber to timber. This 5L pack suits renderers, tilers, concrete patchers and joiners who want one economical product for strengthening cement-based work. Mixed into sand and cement mixes, it lifts adhesion, flexibility, tensile strength and impact resistance. It also improves the flexural and compressive strength of the mortar.About the formulaBondit is a PVA-based emulsion supplied ready to use, and you add it to your mix or dilute it with water depending on the job. Beyond strengthening mortars, it can be thinned and applied to concrete to prime, dustproof and seal the surface. Used neat, it can also be applied to timber joints as a PVA wood bond.Where to use itMortar additive: sand and cement mixes for concrete patching and for rendering, and mortars for tiling over concrete, render, blockwork and rendered brickwork.Bonding slurry: mixed into neat cement to bond new sand and cement toppings onto concrete.Primer and sealer: diluted with water and brushed or rolled onto concrete to prime, dustproof and seal.Joinery: applied neat to bond timber to timber.Suitable surfaces include concrete, render, blockwork, rendered brickwork and timber. Very porous surfaces should be primed with Bondit first. Always test for suitability on a small area before starting the full job.How to use itSurfaces should be dry, structurally sound and clean, and free of dust, dirt, wax, oil, grease, paint, adhesives and other contaminants. New concrete needs to cure for six weeks and have a wood float finish. Steel-trowelled concrete should be acid etched or wire brushed before tiling. New render should cure for at least 7 days.As a mortar additive, the manufacturer's guide is approximately 750 mL to 1 L of Bondit, plus the required water, for each 20 kg of sand and cement mix.As a primer, dilute with water and apply by brush or roller. Expect roughly 6 to 8 m² per litre when diluted.For joinery, apply neat by brush or roller. Expect roughly 3.5 m² per litre, depending on surface porosity and site conditions.Important notesDo not use Bondit in temperatures above 40°C or below 5°C.It is not suitable for permanently wet or damp areas such as swimming pools and spas. For those installations, the manufacturer recommends Davco Lanko 751 Lankolatex instead.Coverage figures are approximate and vary with surface porosity and site conditions.Store in the original, unopened and undamaged packaging in dry conditions between 4°C and 35°C.
