On grained or ribbed surfaces, run the tape across the grain or in a cross pattern for a better hold. Important notes Not an electrical tape. Do not use it to insulate wiring. Does not bond well to materials high in oils or plasticisers, such as EPDM rubber or flexible PVC. A clear acrylic tape is a better choice for those. Not suitable for direct or indirect food contact. It can be removed, but removal may take effort and can leave adhesive residue.   Selleys Liquid Nails VP30 Primer is a rapid-curing, water-based priming concentrate designed as a bridging primer in the Liquid Nails timber flooring system, supplied here in a 1L pack. It is used on concrete slabs and other porous or non-porous surfaces before levelling compounds or flooring adhesives go on, and it flashes off in about 30 minutes so the next stage of the job can start quickly.About the formulaA water-based hybrid polymer primer that is low in VOCs and low in odour. It changes colour as it dries, going on pink and turning red when dry, so you can see at a glance when a coat is ready. If a second coat is needed, apply it after the first has cured and before 24 hours have passed. Clean tools with water before the product cures.Important notesDo not apply over damp or contaminated surfaces, or when the temperature is below 10°C or above 35°C. It stays flexible once cured so the floor can move naturally. It forms clean, stable ridges under the trowel and gives good wet grab and initial hold.
