It is ideal for fixing minor imperfections on painted surfaces before repainting. On wood, it is ideal for cracks and joints. For use on interior walls and joinery, including doors, windows, trim, architraves and skirting boards Fill fine cracks up to 2mm, minor blemishes or wood grain for a professional, glass smooth surface for painting Properties Ready to use Sand & paint after 4 hours Super smooth white finish Easy to sand Maximum depth: 2 mm Particle size: Max 0.10 mm How to apply Substrate and crack must be clean, dry and free from loose material. New wood should be primed first. Rub down gloss surfaces for improved adhesion. Metal surfaces such as nails and screws should be treated with an appropriate rust resistant primer. Apply with a filling knife and spread over the surface, pressing in well. Remove any excess filler and leave to dry. For an even smoother finish rub down with fine sand paper. Use appropriate protection when sanding. Do not apply when the surface temperature is below + 5°C. Replace lid after use. Wash tools with warm water.

Parts to be sealed must be clean and dry. Shake the product thoroughly before use. Note: To prevent the product from clogging in the nozzle, avoid touching the bottle tip to the metal surface. Step 3: Application For Thru Holes: Apply several drops of the product onto the bolt at the nut engagement area. For Blind Holes: Apply several drops of the product down the internal threads to the bottom of the hole.  For Sealing Applications: Apply a 360°bead of product to the leading threads of the male fitting, leaving the first thread free. Force the material into the threads to thoroughly fill the voids. For bigger threads and voids, adjust product amount accordingly and apply a 360°bead of product on the female threads also. Assemble parts and tighten as required. Sets in approximately 10 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours.  Step 4: Cleanup Clean adhesive residue immediately with a damp cloth. Cured product can be removed with a combination of soaking in methylene chloride and mechanical abrasion such as a wire brush.  For disassembly, shear with standard hand tools and remove with methylene chloride. Sand it, paint it, stain it. Simply stated, it’s the Toughest Glue on Planet Earth. Directions Prepare and Dampen the Surfaces If you’re using Original Gorilla Glue for the first time, or bonding a new type of material, we always recommend trying a test piece first. Prepare your surfaces: All surfaces must be clean, dust free and tight fitting. For shiny surfaces, such as metals, glass and some plastics, roughen up the material to give the glue something to bite into. Damp It: Lightly dampen one surface with water. We recommend using a damp cloth or spraying with water. Do not saturate the surface. For dense hardwoods, lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing. Evenly Apply Gorilla Glue Onto the Dry Surface Glue It: Carefully apply onto the dry surface. Do not over apply. We recommend wearing gloves or spreading the glue with a disposable brush. In some instances, Gorilla Glue can be a skin sensitizer. If you are predisposed to skin reactions, please take the extra precaution. If you do get the glue on your skin, try removing it with a dry cloth or paper towel first (particularly if the glue is still tacky). Or, if you don’t have a clamp, use heavy objects or Gorilla Tape® to achieve the appropriate clamping pressure. For lighter objects, try using rubber bands to hold the pieces together tightly. Clamp objects for 1–2 hours. For best results, allow 24 hours to cure. Clean up If you need to remove any uncured “squeeze out” or wet glue, we recommend wiping with a dry cloth or using a standard paint thinner. Make sure to read and follow directions if using a paint thinner. Always wear gloves. Once the glue is dry, it is best removed mechanically: Try sanding, chiseling, scraping or picking. To extend the shelf life, always wipe lid and nozzle clean with a dry cloth and tightly replace the lid. My bottle of glue has formed a dry layer on top; can I still use it? Any glue that is still in liquid form is perfectly usable and reliable. If the dry layer is very thin, use a pointed tool to poke through it and carefully pull the dry layer through the cap. Do not microwave or heat your bottle of Gorilla Glue to soften the top layer. How do I clean up Gorilla Glue? Wipe off excess glue immediately with a dry cloth or standard paint thinner. As a general guide, use a ½ ounce per square foot. Be careful of uncured “squeeze-out” or wet glue, particularly on finished furniture.
